South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Gonna take some time to do the things we never had

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

The young woman was pleased with herself at her attempt to flirt with her husband, it was a rarity. Growing up she didn't really get to learn or observe the peculiar art that everyone else seemed to know. Her cheeks turned into that light pink, a bit embarrassed with herself, but she raised her head quite proudly when he responded that he did like the way she moved. That wiry grin an easy giveaway for her to know she did well. Focusing on the giraffe family coming for a drink she didn't realize there was an ongoing shift in her mate, not until she heard him answer her question without a stutter. Seeing that familiar warm golden gaze was a welcoming sight. She had seen a flash of it during their wedding, and another flash when they consummated their marriage. Raven was uncertain if she would see his was present or not during their honeymoon, but she was pleased to see him. While he moved upwards and behind to slide his arms down her side she giggled as he gently kissed some of the skin exposed from her robe, leaning her neck to the side to give him more access. Hearing him snort softly she looked up at him sticking her tongue out, knowing very well that if the robe should come undone he would be pleased. No matter which side of her husband came out, both would be appeased to see her naked. Shaking her head she exclaimed rather despairingly as he moved away.

"Well it is, I mean what if someone saw! Then I'd have to protect that innocent person from your wrath. You don't like sharing."

There was one time when Raven was naked in their room and a new staff member, that happened to be male, accidentally stepped in her room. Surprised and embarrassed she attempted to cover herself, but before the man could take a step back and shut the door he was pounced upon by her spotted companion. Tobias was human but had taken on some of his animal parts, he quickly pounced upon the man, his claws sinking into his chest as his long spotted tail thrashed angrily behind him. Her mate roared in his face and then began to speak vehemently, in which she couldn't comprehend what he was saying. Grabbing a blanket she covered herself and went over to him, beseeching to the boy to let the poor man get up. The curly-haired woman was certain that the Tobias before her wouldn't go so far as to treat another in such a manner, and yet he was a part of a man that had very turbulent mood swings.

Seeing her husband perch himself casually along the railing a small frown appeared. His other half was a cat, and yet that didn't mean she was comfortable with him sitting so carelessly along the edge. Lifting herself off the chair she walked easily over to him. Every day she did his bidding do whatever sort of activity he wished to do, and now that he actually asked her what to do...well she was appreciative of his gesture. But he was trapped within his own mind unable to do what he wished to, and so she was willing to take his kind gesture and send in back to him. It was his soft sigh and shake of his head that made her tilt her head to the side, as she gently slid her hands into his own. An innocent grin appeared as she shrugged her shoulders, gently tugging the man towards her, to get him off that railing.

"Love me for what I am...just as I love you."

Although he wanted her to choose the activity for the day she wanted him to make a decision too. Now that he was in charge he should be able to do as he wished. It made sense to her. Nodding in agreement by his proposal she began to walk backwards, encouraging the man to come with her, and far from that railing. The idea of four wheeling seemed like fun...it seemed like something he would enjoy. The last time he drove them somewhere was when he took her to that philanthropy event, stealing presents and taking her up on the hill...it was such a wonderful night. She would lead him off the deck and into their room, stopping once she was sure he wouldn't be encouraged to leap onto that railing again. They needed to return to the West in one piece....she wasn't going to come home and explain to Tetradore that his best friend is dead because he was the only Were-cat in the world to die from falling. Nope, they were going to return home together, but it would be awhile. This was one of their only moments they would be alone together, to do what they wished, and she wanted them to enjoy every minute of it.

"I think that is fair, we can do the four wheel driving, that sounds like a lot of fun...you can drive of course!"

Letting go of his hands she moved over to the dresser opening a drawer and pulling out a pamphlet. There were many things they could here, and there were a few things she wished to do...if he was willing to accompany her. Walking back towards him she turned to the page that showed a grown elephant and a baby elephant being fed by tourists, and another with their trunk in a couple's hand as they walked. Looking up at him with a small simper she fiddled with the strap of the robe, uncertain if he would be willing to do this with her. Elephants, she heard, were gentle giants...although that didn't mean they were gentle all the time. Hopefully Tobias was willing to do something...different.

"Do you think we could go see the elephants? I've never seen one before. They have a refuge for them. We get to feed them, brush them, and hold their trunk on a walk."

To help encourage the man to do what she wished she muttered shyly another proposal, one she was assured the two of them could enjoy together.

"And well, we could do other things too, if you're still here."
