South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

My Own Form Of CHAOS

I don't know how this guy leanred to do what he does but I entreat him for learning the old fashined way. I was a murderer when I was human, but I used guns. I was in the war and I killed more than my fair share of men but in my defense, they were shooting back at me. Other than that, most would have called me harmless. But the night I was turned, something twisted in me like a knife and it hasn't let go since. I went on a rampage. First, it was about blood lust and the cravings that just wouldn't go away but the more I killed, the more I found that I actually enjoyed myself. It let out a side of me I didn't know existed inside myself.

From the moment I start dismembering the body, I can tell that he probably wanted to take part in it, the way his eyes narrow as I pull the man apart, limb by limb. What can I say? Old habits die hard and I was never one to share. Even so, I can see almost a sort of awe in his eyes as I pile the man's body parts up like trash even as he mumbles something under his breath that I probably didn't want to hear anyway. He snorts and moves with purpose now to the side of the grave, saying some mumbo jumbo about resting in piece. I chuckle.

"More like pieces."

I mumble before I start tossing body parts toward the hole. I pretend not to see the hand hitting him in the face but it's all I can do not to roll on the ground laughing at the irony of it all. When I ask if he'd like to have a turn, I can practically see the drool in the corner of his lips as he moves toward the hole. I tilt my head, curious as to what he has in mind. I watch then with mild surprise as he starts barely moving his fingers and the coffin lid closes with a bang, the lid sealing itself closed as the metal melts down like it's in a furnace. He then turns to a pile of dirt and with hardly any effort at all, it lands in the hole as if it were made for it. As if that was a good day's work, he then pulls a cigarette out and puts it to his lips, looking deeply satisfied.

"At least you see their value.Could have been a model for the commercials, don't you think?"

I give a wry smirk and hold up a hand, admiring it in the moonlight before I pull it back down and turn back to him. I put my hands in my pockets, listening with amusement as he muses about the worthlessness of money. I flash pearly whites at his offer.

"You don't say."

I turn on my heels and start walking toward the town, calling out over my shoulder.

"You coming? A good drink always helps me with important decisions."
