South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It would seem that he was successful in manipulating and using her emotions against her, all for his own benefit. However, all he could have done, to get what he wanted, was to simply ask. It wasn't everyday she was able to spend time with another, but each time he came along her acceptance of his presence would continue to grow. It might have been from wandering the warehouse district, spending time in his territory, every now and then going on a hunt, or just sleeping within Lucian's warehouse near him. It was enough to slowly condition her to accepting him. He was not pack. Nothing he said or did ever instigated such things, but she was well aware that the various scents on his spotted pelt spoke of being among others of his kind. She did not ask. It wasn't her place to ask such things, because it was not her business. She had lived within a pack once and they were far too strict, rules beaten in her skull to respect them. If she was not allowed to speak of her own, then perhaps, he wasn't either. She did not want to put him in such a questionable position.

The ebony beast marked with unusual grey markings sat quietly in front of the spotted cat, her skull tilted to the side in curiosity at the possible chance to play game. When given permission to roam their grounds she would watch her peers run after one another, listening to their barks of play, observing how they initiated play in the first place. When she was alone she would practice her play bow, making sure it was perfect before she would try it out on them. When she would move her form into the proper position, her scarred features would turn into dismay when they would run away from her or chase her away. From a faraway distance she would continue to oversee their play, whimpering softly, sadden that she could not partake in the fun. Blue-grey eyes narrowed when she noticed how eerily quiet the giant cat became as his golden eyes just stared at her. Feeling uncomfortable with his attention on her, naturally her sleek thick fur would bristle in agitation. She was used to be gawked at, when she roamed the streets as a human, and she hated it when others within her pack would come and jeer and poke at her when she was within her cold cage. A gentle voice would reach his mind as she inquired and asked for the brute to stop it.

"Why do you stare? Stop that...I don't...I don't like that."

Her grey trimmed ears would twitch back and forth when she heard this rumbling sound come from the big cat as he half-heartedly wiped behind his ear. She would stand back on her four grey paws, her tail swaying side to side as she eagerly listened to him explain in detail just what they were going to do. She would stand very still when his taunt form and golden spotted pelt would slide slowly against her lustrous thicker fur. Standing her ground, very anxious, doing the needs must when the devil drives, not wanting to allow him to continue to touch her. She did not appreciate him touching her in such a close way as this, but the idea that he would be a friend only caused her to stand still if only for a while longer. However, when he rubbed up against her on the other side, she couldn't help, but briefly lean into him wanting a bit more of this touch- perhaps it was a good thing? Yet there had to be reason why he was doing such an odd thing. In her species, one of the reasons why another would touch each other in such a way was due to the need for survival. The gentle winds that blew did carry a cold nip to it, so she would ask softly to the giant cat what his intentions were.

"Why do you touch me like this...are you cold?"

It was an innocent inquiry. She would watch him saunter around sitting on his haunches as he delved deeper into this game that they would play. The directions seemed simple enough for her to understand. As he began to close his eyes, her dial would turn left and right wondering just where she was going to hide. Spotting a break of an entrance to the woods she would head in that direction, running swiftly through, zig-zagging between the trees. Occasionally she would brush her good shoulder against a tree, circling it a couple of times before running into a completely different direction, being careful to make her paws lightly touch the ground. She would continue this for a while, always searching for that perfect spot she could hide in. Heading down south, knowing that southern winds barely carried any sort of scent, she would come across a babbling brook. Swaying her tail side to side she would dab her paws into the banks, running along them, giving the hint she was heading in that direction, but as soon as the bank got rockier and the waters got smoother she would leap to the side into the tall grasses, implying that her paw prints led to the peaceful waters giving the impression that she crossed the babbling brook. Moving through the tall grass she would eventually come across an abandoned bear's den, within the outskirts of the woods. Using the aide of the old bear's scent she would crawl her way in facing the mouth of the den, as she laid there quietly. Blue-grey eyes would watch as she laid her head down, keeping her body far back within the den, hoping she was playing the game correctly.
