South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The ebony feline found himself entirely incapable of truly forgetting that peculiar evening, despite perhaps his best efforts. She should have been nothing more then an anomaly upon his radar - something that he filed away in the back of his mind to be entirely forgotten. However, Tetradore had always had a knack for finding and collecting such broken souls. It was an unfortunate consequence of his own decidedly checkered past. Raven and Reagan were perfect examples of such habits. He found it inquisitive that his voice should bring her such mental anguish, entirely unused to their culture as a species. They were unique - special in the fashion that they so precariously walked the line between man and beast. He had heard of some that preferred one nature of another but never any that would so willingly choose to deny their human side entirely. It was still apart of them, still who they were. It made him curious to know her. Did she choose this? Was this forced upon her in the same fashion that it so was upon them? Did she know? Such idle inquiries floated within the man's skull until he found himself entirely unable to deny himself the answers any longer. Somewhere, beneath all of that stoic outer appearance, beneath the silence and the death he wore as close as a cloak - there was still a man who wanted to rescue a princess, as ridiculous as it was.

It had hardly taken him particularly long to find her, becoming startlingly used to her scent. After all, he quite practically embodied night itself. Stalking her had become a surprisingly comfortable past time for the panther. It was easy to keep amongst the trees, to jump from limb to limb with grace and ease. The first time he'd done it, he'd been astonished to find that she was hardly by herself after all but rather a member of a pack of coyotes. None of them had seemed particularly cunning or brilliant, their mannerisms even from afar was far more akin to that of their bestial nature. It had been fascinating at first, to follow them though there were a few times when he'd trespassed too closely and made the outlying members skittish. At the very least, he was meticulously careful to remain out of sight of the female that had brought him so far into the depths of the forest to begin with - a place he often only ventured with his own mixed pack at his back. There was safety in numbers.

Today, however, the female coyote was far deeper in the woods then she had been with her pack before. Perhaps that alone should have concerned him but he suspected she was well and capable enough to hold her own. Carefully his large paws gripped into the bark beneath him, his large form jumping from one tree to the next as he followed her scent deeper and deeper. Finally, Tetradore found himself on the fringe of a clearing of sorts, the tree limbs falling short over a large bubbling river. He paused at the edge, his form lowering onto a large oak branch as his emerald eyes fell upon the tawny form of the coyote. He stayed still, content to watch the young woman as she stood at the edge of the river, entirely oblivious to the large brown bear that encroached on the exact same river.
