South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Despite the young man's particular interest in food or the fluidity at which he prepared their dinner, Sterling was hardly oblivious of his companion. Quite on the contrary he had snuck several looks at the man in those quiet moments when the meat on the stove had been browning. There was something about him that kept drawing Sterling's gaze. There was something about him that was...handsome, he supposed. But up until this point he had never particularly held an interest within other men, much less had any reason to explore his sexuality in the first place. He didn't pursue such a line of thought, however, instead content to simple present the forlorn fellow with the dinner he had so meticulously prepared for their consumption. He placed the plate down in front of the boy, his eyebrows raising ever so slightly at the man' announcement and yet he offered nothing to refute the statement nor did he pocket the money offered him. Instead, Sterling merely left it where it sat upon the counter. In a peculiar way, Sterling had always held some sort of nurturing persona, at least, he thought he had though why he couldn't quite place.

Never the less, the boy was content to discuss his own personal experiences with the low cost motels within the area, even if he chose not to go into them in particular detail. He hardly missed his companion's utterance though. A warm laugh crossed his lips at Henry's words, his head shaking ever so slightly, "It's not really all that bad if you know what to expect. But, I think you've had enough to deal with for one day." After all, he hardly wanted to make the effort to describe in detail the species of the city, especially considering he wasn't even sure if he knew half of them himself. Besides, he was quite certain that Henry would merely condemn him as a crazy person rather then actually prove the point that the man needed to watch out.

A small simper crossed his features as he watched his companion quite practically gulp down every single morsel given him. He could only assume that it was either utterly delete cable or it had been a very long time indeed since Henry had eaten. Who knows how long the poor boy had been wandering around the park before the pair had stumbled into each other. Sterling hardly felt the need to intervene with Henry's feast, instead content to simply sit beside him and savor the flavors in the quietness that surrounded them - that was, until the man responded to his suggestion. Sterling glanced upwards, his blue gaze momentarily falling on the man beside him before he slowly shook his head. After all his recent discovery told him it was unlikely Henry would merely accept his assistance, even if it was the best option he had available. "Really Henry, it's not a huge deal. I mean, it's not like I share my flat with anyone who'd mind. Besides, I'm sure you can figure out a way to pay me back, you can start on the dishes if you like." He nodded ever so slightly, entirely willing to make up nonsensical tasks if it meant that he could keep his new found pet project safe from the world that existed beyond these walls until he was ready to take it on by himself.
