South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Kato Buhari

The only thing on Kato's mind at that moment was the Hunters and goading them into giving chase. Each encounter required something different to get the Hunters to spring into action. Some had more of a shoot first and talk later and others liked to think they were playing with him first before ending his life. So as Kato offered his first comment, his mind calculated the distance between them and him, the arrows, and how far it was to his trap. Of course all of that got tossed out the window the instant that little fox became a woman. A very naked woman.

The Hunter's attention were quickly captured by the sudden appearance, faltering in their steps having thought the man before them was the only Were there. Kato may have been a Were, their species hardly noting nudity as out of the ordinary, but he was a male who was had a beautiful young woman suddenly appear naked. His gaze lingered on her form though that same quirk of a brow returned to his features, unsure of what it was she was doing as...didn't she see he had had it under control. One of the Hunters shifted his position to give the woman his full attention while the other remained stationed facing Kato though his attention was clearly more focused on the naked woman too. "Oh?" The Hunter smirked as he slipped the crossbow off his shoulder and slowly moved towards Edie. "He must be important to you for you to lay down your life for him."

Kato narrowed his gaze at the Hunter approaching Edie before turning his attention back to the one near him. He tested the Hunter's reflexes, shifting his feet and leaning as if to make a move in order to cause the Hunter to jerk in return to block whatever he thought Kato was going to do. A smirk tugged at Kato's lips, tilting his head slightly. Oh he would be able to take this one. "Shouldn't I know your name if you're going to kill me? It's only fair to know the name of your killer after all. I'll start...my name's Kato." Kato remained in his braced position though very still as he spoke. The Hunter gave his own smirk, lifting his crossbow to take aim at Kato just as his partner did the same to Edie. "My name's--" Kato acted just before the Hunter could pull the trigger, lunging forward in a barrel roll, coming up in front of the Hunter and jabbing his elbow backwards into the man's gut and grabbing the crossbow as the Hunter released it from the attack. Immediately Kato whipped the crossbow around to smash into the side of the Hunter's head, knocking him to the ground seeing stars.

Now with the upper hand Kato took aim at the other Hunter as the other was incapacitated at his feet. The other Hunter had noticed the commotion and twisted about to see what was going on, bringing himself so he was facing Kato but keeping his own crossbow aiming at Edie. "Don't move! DROP THE CROSSBOW!" The Hunter shouted at Kato who was glaring evenly at him over his newly acquisitioned weapon. "Drop it or I shoot her!" Kato's gaze barely flickered to Edie at the threat. If Edie had had any power she would have surely used it by now. Foolish, she had gotten herself in the middle of something that would have been so simple. "Go ahead." Kato answered simply and for a moment the Hunter gave pause not expecting that answer before his own gaze narrowed at Kato and his finger moved to the trigger. Kato released his arrow before the Hunter could pull his trigger, the silver pointed weapon shooting across to hit the handle of the other and knocking it off its aim so when the Hunter's arrow released it was no longer aimed at Edie's heart but sliced by her shoulder instead.

The Hunter was caught off guard from the impact and dropped the crossbow. Kato tossed aside the crossbow he had and started forward at the pair. In one moment where a man was running there was then a rampaging rhino on his place, head down with horns aimed at the Hunter. The hunter scrambled for the dropped crossbow, managing to grab it but having to scurry out of the way as Katos massive form came plowing forward. The hunter didn't get far before Kato swung his head sideways, catching the hunter as he was trying to scramble away, sending the man flying several feet. The large rhino glanced back at Edie, void of much emotion before turning his sights back on the dazed and injured hunter. The man could hardly wobble to his feet, clutching his side and limping with obvious broken bones from the sheer impact of the hit of the rhinos head. He abandoned his weapon as he tried to hobble away which Kato snorted in irritance, picking up his saucer plate sized feet as he took off at another charge at the retreating man. It was mid lunge that an arrow came flying and hit Kato in the shoulder, the silver tip lodging itself into his thick hide.

An audible loud grunt was heard from the animal from the impact of the silver piercing his flesh. Immediately he stopped his charge on the retreating figure to turn and see the previously unconscious hunter now on his feet with a nasty bruise on his face from being smacked with the crossbow he now held. Fear though enveloped the man as Kato didn't seem phased by the arrow and began to instead charge at him. The man's eyes widened as he quickly reached for another arrow, shooting off two more as Kato ran at him. Kato shifted his form, one arrow skinning his side and the other slicing across his face. By the time the hunter had shot the two extra arrows he had run out of time to escape and Kato was on him, throwing the hunter with vicious force into a nearby tree trunk. The impact threw the man's head into the solid wood, audible cracks heard before he slumped to the ground.

The rhino stopped in its tracks, looking down at the fallen hunter. Small ears twisted, alert and listening to the wheezing slow breath of the hunter. He was alive but broken and of no threat now. With a disgruntled snort in the heaps' direction Kato turned about to see if the strange woman was still there amongst all the chaos. Seeing she hadn't fled was both bothersome and curious. He strode back towards her; mid field beast becoming man, as naked as the day he was born thanks to the unexpected sudden shift shredding his jeans. He still had the arrow lodged in the crevice between his shoulder and chest, narrowly perhaps avoiding the artery there though a trail of blood was still slithering down his tattooed chest. Kato brought his good arm's hand up to wipe at the sliver of blood from his cheek. He could feel the burn from the silver from the cut on cheek and down his back though it didn't compare to the pain at the arrow with the silver pointed arrow still in him.

Still, he showed no more outward indication of pain than a twist of his features and soft grunt as he brought his hand up to the arrow where it disappeared into the skin and gave a yank, effectively tearing it from his shoulder. "Why are you still here?" He wagged the bloody arrow at her once before tossing it aside and holding his hand to the bleeding wound. His amber eyes looked back at her in curiosity and confusion.
