South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

There was something distinctly intimidating about Kato's mother, and the girl was resisting the urge to curl into herself and use her boyfriend as a shield. But no, Kato had told her to be her feisty self, right? Edie was not the type to bow down and let anyone intimidate her. The spiritual leader, Kato had told her, was what his mother was. To her, that was the same as Alpha, and Edie was not even remotely afraid of an Alpha. She wasn't even afraid of her own Alpha, and Frost's nature could be decidedly cruel if he wanted - luckily, she'd yet to see that side of him. So Edie was hardly afraid of her. The assumption she was a rhino was one that Edie was willing to dispute. She was surprised when Kato steered her away from his mother, pushing her towards the road to the hut. She had seen the look of surprise on his mother's features, and honestly it had caused a small bit of pride to well in her stomach.

"Kato," She protested as they walked, though he said nothing to her until they were pushed into the hut. Edie tried desperately not to show her apprehension towards the hut, though she was sure with the heat and the small bed, she was in for some rough sleep. She watched as he worked to put their things out on the bed, watching that shit-eating grin he seemed to display her with. It was that look on his face that caused her sudden burst of emotion, the girl stepping forward to press her body into his. She whined slightly when he pulled her back, holding her at arms length. "Kato..." She protested, frowning as he explained the way that his mother must have been feeling. She gave a small nod, shifting on her feet as he brought up Frost. "Frost is different. I'm still proving myself. He'll find out eventually. I'll be with him on the next full moon, I'm sure."

"You told me to be myself," She said softly, hardly surprised when he seemed to end the conversation and pull her over to the bed. She let him pull her down, worming her way into his arms as though that was the only place in the world that she fit securely. It was distracting, almost, to hear the conversations that were happening outside, but even then the fox's eyes were beginning to droop and her breathing slowing. It was only when he spoke of the moon did she let out a soft laugh. "Do they understand me when I talk? I didn't... I guess I wasn't prepared for the language barrier." Her cheeks flushed slightly at the compliments, hardly used to being told such sweet things that didn't concern her body. Kato complimented her, but not in such a poetic way as the children did. "I like them, too," She murmured, her eyes fluttering shut as she curled into his side, resting her head on his chest to listen to his steady heartbeat. She didn't immediately understand the foreign words spoken to her, but her heart seemed to swell at the compliment afforded her. "I love you too," She said against his lips before she tucked her head down, letting the sleep take her.

The young fox was unaware how much time had passed when she woke up, only that it was dark in the hut and that she was alone. It took several moments of blinking to understand where she was, and then the woman was overwhelmingly concerned as to where Kato was. She found it hard to believe that he would leave her in a time like this, and yet he was nowhere within the hut. "Kato?" She whispered, sitting up and dumping the blanket he'd piled on her to the side. She stood up after a moment, pulling on the black flats she'd been wearing and venturing outside to look for him. It was dark now, though she could see the commotion in the square. The rhythmic beat of the music was enticing, pulling her forward as though she was enchanted, though even then she stopped at the edge.

She was aware, even now in her sleepy state, that she was the outsider here. She didn't fit in, didn't know how to join them, didn't know what to do. Still, it would have been enjoyable to watch them dance had her eyes not been scanning the crowd for her boyfriend. She'd just about given up when her eyes landed on him dancing, the sight one that would have brought a smile to her face had he not been tangled with another woman. The sight of it made her skin crawl, and yet the woman remained frozen in place, unable to walk towards it and yet unable to run back to the hut and pretend she hadn't seen.
