West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

There was a certain sense of rightness to the world, one in which even Tobias himself was hardly oblivious too, as he collapsed upon his companions bed- half crushing the other man's feet with the gesture and yet that gangly deviant had rarely been one to consider the comfort of those he more often than not forced his presence upon. It was a truly rare moment of relaxation for the feline, Tobias assured that this was the very place he was so designed to be, his mind at last free of those burdens of Alpha-ship he had barely understood and yet clung to all the same, the boy oddly capable when such responsibilities were thrust upon him and yet within near the same breath he was entirely content to return to his role as his favoured companions shadow. Tobias so having taken up that role of protector, of sorts, oblivious to the notion that Tetradore was surely capable of such a thing himself, a part of that deviant still so seemingly convinced they were children still. Time, after all, held no real meaning for him. Tobias holding no ability to truly perceive how much or little time ever truly passed, the man merely measuring such lengths as short or long or by how many times he had seen the moon rise- though his inability to count perhaps made such things impossible all the same. The boy more than content to merely make up lengths of time when asked. His ability to understand most forms of questioning perhaps equally as dubious. That very one that left his companions lips now seeing the boys head tilt slightly, those fathomless dark eyes meeting the green of Tetradore's own and yet, for whatever reason, Tobias was almost inclined to....try when it came to Tetradore, his ability to listen to his companions words far superior to most others. Tetradore, after all, so simply seemed to understand his words, Tobias so often seeming to understand the other man in turn in that simple, unspoken manner. Why was Birdie upset? His own shoulders shrugged.

"Birdie is....girl.....girls.....get upset....because they are girls."

His lips tugged upward into a grin, that perhaps the most simply male answer Tobias had ever given and yet he was assured that women remained a mystery in many things. Why Raven was upset surely one of them, Tobias as clueless as Tetradore in this, the boy unable to understand the complex emotions that turned within his mate, the boy simply moving to work to alleviate them as was surely his job. It was easier, after all, to stop her crying rather than find out why she cried at all. His mind not made that way. He so hated to see her upset, he merely desired to make her smile again. It was that notion off his own presents however that readily seemed to draw his mind away from his mate resting contentedly in their room, Tobias an eternally impatient person. That presents surely existed and he did not have them was more than he could bare, his features spreading into yet another grin at Tetradore's assurance they could find those gifts, the boy hurrying to scramble to his feet as the other man pulled himself upwards. Tobias paused only to gesture to that room at large, seeking to assure himself that his chosen Alpha was pleased with that room Tobias had guarded so dutifully and slept within each and every night as if keeping Tetradore's place within that Ark filled for him. That question within his friends voice was hardly missed, Tobias' head tilted in an almost dog-like fashion once more, the boy unable to truly perceive just what the man was asking, his head nodding all the same.

"Yes. All. I sleep.....there......and wait....for Tetra. Is....my job."

Whether Tetradore so desired or not, it seemed, his shadow was nothing if not utterly dedicated to him in every sense of the word. Tobias so believing his very purpose in life, outside of loving Raven, was to guard Tetradore and those things the man deemed his own. Tobias simply refusing to believe the man was dead in any fashion, so spending each and every night off his companion's absence waiting for him. Loyalty by far his most redeeming quality. Tobias effortlessly loyal to his best friend. Those soft words of praise, it seemed, were all the boy required. The deviant truly easy to please. Those words alone perhaps far more meaningful then even Tetradore realised. Tobias grinning again as that hand reached to ruffle his hair in affection- Tetra utterly forgiven for his absence in that single moment, the boy assured his Alpha could do no wrong. The boy rose easily from the bed then, falling into step beside his companion as they moved easily down those familiar halls and towards the garage he had been forbidden from entering. A huff of surprise escaped his lips as he was veritably shoved into that darkness, Tetradore closing the door hurriedly beside them, the boys features frowning slightly at this curious behaviour and yet he hardly dwelled upon it. His own affinity summoned readily to allow those feline eyes to momentarily overtake his human ones- affording him that night vision as he followed his companion to that light switch, shifting those human eyes back into place a moment later as light flooded the room to reveal those two new cars.

"Cars!"

That was one word he knew entirely well, one uttered without hesitation or pause. Cars entirely exciting to that shaggy-haired man. He rushed almost eagerly forward then and towards that blue Bugatti. Blue a colour the leopard seemed to respond to readily, the boy often favouring it among others, that grin on his lips utterly beaming as his fingers reached out to run along that sleek surface of their newest car, his excitement surely clear, the feline utterly delighted to see it as his gaze flicked from side to front and back again.

"I like...this one.....very much. We will....go driving.....now?"

That he desired to go for a drive here and now was surely clear, Tobias eternally fascinated by those engines and wheels and the sheer speed Tetradore was capable of driving at and pressing those machines towards. Tobias very much a man in every sense of the word when it came to those machines, one hand resting upon it still, Tobias hardly caring to ask where or how his companion had achieved possession of that car. Such things simply did not matter to him. All that mattered was that car and Tetradore himself, his gaze at last falling into that red Honda, his features frowning slightly now in some effort to find those words he desired. That fractured mind attempting to tug at a memory of sorts now.

"Is.....for...me? For driving?"

That, it seemed, he remembered.
