West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

That idle comment that the not everything could be perfect was, quite literally, the story of his life. Very little of his world had fallen in place in a way that was 'perfect' in any fashion. He suspected, truly, that life was hardly as awful as the young woman made it out to seem and yet, he said very little of his own thoughts on it. People hardly took well to being told they had it easy in comparison. Rather, Tetradore merely offered her a small shrug, finishing that alcohol in his glass before he reached out for that glass bottle, quite near stealing it from her in the process. Tetradore had little intention of sitting around for the girl's pity party. In truth, he'd never really had any sort of patience for such dwelling upon sadness, beyond, of course, his own. The were-King was hardly a hypocrite in any fashion, he knew well where his own faults lay and often times, he was the first to admit them, if anyone ever bothered to speak to him of it - which, they rarely did. As it was, Tetradore was rather certain he had a far better idea of how the young woman could spend the next hour or so of her evening, the man abruptly rose to his feet as he commented in a far more demanding voice for her follow him. Requests, it seemed, were not his forte.

The man was largely oblivious to those internal thoughts that so roved her mind as she contemplated not only following him but the consequences that might come with it, much less her own feelings upon the man himself, in some regards. Tetradore, on the other hand, was near single minded in his purpose, hardly hesitating as he started moving through the bar with the simple faith that she would be in his wake. And if she wasn't? Well...that was all fine and well all the same. He glanced behind his shoulder as soon as he was free of the crowd, that corridor laid out before him and yet, the man was pleased to find her still following in tow. He continued to lead her to those areas of the ship often closed off to the public, the man hardly considering those fears that lingered on her mind at the darkness that pressed in on them. Here, Tetradore was entirely at ease. He rounded the corner towards the kitchen, leading the woman into that brightly lit space. Tetradore turned towards the woman, pausing at that quizzical look that crossed her features though he hardly lingered long on that questioning glance. Rather, he inquired after that if she was even capable of baking. After all, what was a birthday without a cake?

Tetradore hardly waited for a response before he began to pull from those cabinets the objects Raven normally pulled out for any sort of baked sweet. He might have never made an effort to bake himself but Tetradore was certainly attentive when it served him to be. He glanced over his shoulder as he pulled those objects out of the fringe, "Yeah, it's somewhere. Just....open all the cabinets till you find it." He commented, hardly concerned for the mess they might make. After all, he hired staff to clean up after him, or, if they were feeling particularly adventurous afterwards, closing some cabinets was hardly the end of the world. He bought several of those staples from the fridge, placing them down on the counter only to glance at that book Calliel had found and the recipe she had opened it too. The chocolate cake was certainly appealing, particularly with that chocolate frosted glaze Raven had a habit of making with it. "This is a good one." He commented idly, his own eyes scanning that ingredients list for anything he missed that Calliel wasn't already busying herself with fetching. The were-King lifted himself up onto the counter beside that book and stack of ingredients, the man entirely content to refill his glass as he watched Calliel return with those measuring cups.

That inquiry caused his gaze to glance upwards, that distinct change in her voice was certainly noted. His head shook ever so slightly, "Nah, she is my best friend's girlfriend. Raven bought it awhile ago. She likes to read...and cook....I think. I don't know if she actually enjoys cooking or just does it so we have something to eat." His features shifted in contemplation of the girl's interests. Truthfully, he'd never taken a great interest in the girl's own hobbies. That wasn't to say he didn't care about her or wholeheartedly support her in whatever caught her eye - after all he was quite willing to throw money at the girl to have her own library if it made her happy. He was as invested in her as he had been in his own sibling. Though, now that he thought about it, maybe that was the issue. Nadya had never been satisfied enough in his involvement either. A soft sigh left his lips as he shook his head, the man altogether eager to focus on something else then those internal difficulties. "So...what do we need to do first?" He inquired, entirely willing to assist in this cake ordeal.
