West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She hadn't run into a lot of other Hunters lately but she'd been isolating herself since leaving Kohl. She'd only done solo missions and wouldn't even reply back when the Council sent her messages. She knew it was a little childish so finally she sent them a simple message that said she had personal things to take care of and she would get back to them when she was done. Since she'd never asked for time off, she took the lack of an answer back as consent to do what she wanted so that's exactly what she did. She did her rigorous workouts and she ran until her lungs burned and she cried herself to sleep when she could be bothered to sleep at all. She thought of Kohl and hated herself. She hated Viktor that much more.

She didn't know if he would take her back once this was all said and done. Once Viktor was dead and gone for good, would Kohl ever forgive her? She knew he loved her. She knew she loved him too, more than anything. But she couldn't endanger him. She wouldn't do that to him. She tried to put everything into the motion of her lungs expanding and contracting. She tried to push the thoughts away. She had to or she'd go insane. What she wasn't expecting though was someone to touch her. She didn't like touch on a regular basis and had only loosened up a little when it came to Kohl. But with anyone else, touch was all but forbidden and she never hesitated to remind anyone who dared try.

So when the hand went down on her shoulder while she was jogging, she whirled around like a cyclone, her shoudlers slumping forward to throw whoever it was off balance as she started throwing punches and kicks. Luckily for him, she was all kinds of distracted lately or she'd have been able to see him moving clear with her power and would have moved with him. As it was, she was still exhausted, both mentally and physically from her workout so she wasn't near the top of her game. When she finally slowed down enough to make out that it was Azrael, she let her hands drop to her knees as she tried to catch her breath. "Don't you know better than to sneak up on another Hunter?"

She panted at him. Her eyes narrowed as she straightened up once he started talking. She sighed, one brow rising as she crossed her arms too and glared at him. "None of your business, Azrael." She wasn't a sharing person to begin with and it wasn't like Azrael and her were friends or anything even remotely close. He had always made it clear how he felt about Kohl so she could never see him as anything other than a coworker, per say. She turned to walk away. "Don't follow me, Azrael. You're not involved in this." Dismissing him, she started to walk away. That's when she felt it. Another Hunter was near, not one of the Council, and they were powerful. The power of...."Gravitakinesis? What the hell is that?" She asked herself out loud as she hesitated.

Suddenly the ground was no longer under her feet and she felt like she was running in air. What the hell? It was like being in a space ship, not that she'd ever done that. She glared at the man who finally stepped from around the corner. She didn't recognize him but his lips lifted like he recognized her. "Hello, Katarina. Viktor says hello." He practically purred before he flicked his fingers and suddenly she was slammed to the ground. She gasped as the air was sucked from her lungs. She tried to move but she couldn't get up. It's like everything was shoving her to the earth. She clenched her jaw. "Get a life!" She growled.
