East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The young girl was perhaps a bit eager to move beyond that notion of her life together with Isolt. After all, though she had enjoyed sharing that townhome with the woman, her days at Isolt's side were altogether fleeting. With Damon's request for the woman's hand, it was only natural that the two would move in together, leaving Chizue once again on her own. Still, she hardly wished to be a burden, however, purposefully refusing to voice those thoughts within her head as she instead reassured the man in front of her that she was sure they would figure out something. After all, she was hardly willing to let any harm befall upon her dear friends, Damon and Isolt being the primary two souls within her life. She would never forgive herself if something terrible happened to them and she had failed to help in what little ways she could. The young woman presented her companion with a warm smile as he stated that, with her assistance, he was certain that they would come to some sort of happy conclusion. She was glad to hear of his optimistic outlook, even if she doubted her help alone would make some great impact. Nevertheless, Chizue's chocolate brown eyes followed the elder vampire as the man took the book from her towards the cashier, so willingly purchasing it for her.

It was sweet of him really, of that she couldn't deny and yet, the girl was hardly prepared for the weight of the cashier's gaze upon her. The strange woman stared at her with such jealousy that it made the demure creature wholly uncomfortable, instead attempting focus her thoughts on those words that left his lips. Chizue and her own unique feeding had always been a point of soreness for the poor girl. She despised being different then others of her species just as much as she appreciated she never had to get her fangs covered in that same bloodied substance as the rest of her kind. Her heart was, perhaps, not made for such a murderous lifestyle. Eventually, her head bobbed ever so slightly, it was about time to subject herself to that feeding, to so allow herself to be tainted by those emotions of others till she wasn't sure which thoughts were her own and which were the result of the soul she'd partaken of. In truth, it was that reason alone she found herself so picky of whom she indulged in. After all, it was the result of a meal that she'd ended up here in the first place.

Chizue hardly expected the offer he provided her with, her head tilting to the side ever so inquisitively. "Fancy?" She questioned almost immediately, a hint of nervousness filling her at the prospect of it. "I've....I've never had...fancy before." And really she hadn't. Though she'd once existed within such a world, that turning had so abruptly ruined it that the young girl had never returned to that lifestyle she'd once had. If it were not for the ever present glower of the woman behind them, Chizue would have indulged from those who stalked this very place and yet, it was that look that saw her ever so desperate to leave this very place. Her head bobbed in confirmation that she did wish to go, wholly not enjoying that stare. Chizue edged towards the door, glancing behind her to ensure Damon was following suite. It was only in that cool breath of the evening air that the young girl found herself relaxing, a soft breath of relief leaving her lips. It was silly really, how something so small as this would prompt her to never come back here again. It was only outside that a simper crossed her delicate features once again, her chocolate eyes turning back towards her companion before she inquired, "Where do you go to find food?" After all, surely he had perfected this whole...hunting thing far better than she had?
