East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

LET THE DARKNESS TAKE YOU

When you look into an abyss, the abyss also looks into you.

The tigress is the first to notice the heat burning in his gaze as she samples of his flesh. Her amethyst eyes glow with a matching intensity and her pupils dilate slightly with unspoken pleasure. His taste and presence intrigue them and Regan is only too willing to sample more. She is greedy with the need festering low in her belly. An ache she doesn't really understand, only that she thinks he might be able to fix it.

The touch of his heated palms wraps around her small waist and draws her ever nearer to his all encompassing warmth. It burns through him and heats the leather clad skin beneath his fingers. There is a delicacy in his touch that speaks of power and a strength that oozes possession. Regan tilts her head and watches as his face contorts with pain and scents the rising tide of blood before it oozes from his ears. His guttural plea to stay hits just the right chord within the silent girl and she relaxes within his grasp. Her own arms sliding up his torso, caressing his neck before pushing her fingers into his thick locks and running soothingly through their length.

Regan knows torment when she sees it. Whatever haunts him is not for her to know. But understand? Oh yes. Regan understands all too well.

Time loses meaning as girl and viking embrace and Regan forgets herself in the monotony of running fingers and silky smoothness. Then he is pulling away. Putting distance between them both physically and emotionally. Regan watches as he slides away before settling near him on the bench. She tucks her legs against her chest and tilts her head to study this viking she is growing far too familiar with. At that exact moment he turns his own head to regard her and their faces are only inches apart. Her lips whisper "You're welcome" but no sound escapes them. Instead, her acceptance is conveyed through her glowing gaze and the somewhat relaxed state of her frame. Oddly enough, some part of her, the tigress most likely, wants to rubs her cheek against his shoulder.

She manages to withhold this desire -- barely.

"Thinks like this"
