East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

Bar hopping had become a particular talent for the Victorian vampire. He had, over time, perfected it to an art of sorts. He preyed upon the individuals who were new or rarely came to the bar till he was left with nothing but the regulars. He'd found out the hard way that it was best to avoid them - hopping amongst them left the bar a hostile place when he felt the desire to return. Tonight, however, Sebastian deviated from his normal haunts. His latest fiasco with his newfound maker had left him a bit peckish and tonight he was looking for an easy meal - one that usually was not found in the upscale establishments he more often preferred. It was this desire, this need that sent the vampire downtown, wandering down the bustling streets till he found himself standing in front of a rather seedy little hole in the wall. In the past few decades, the dingy taverns had become particularly easy pickings, now that he had since mastered his capabilities. They no longer provided the challenge that the individuals in the upscale bars gave him, they so often thought themselves too prude for a simple one-night-stand.

Sebastian hardly hesitated outside long, however, stepping over the threshold with the sort of confidence of a man that knew all too well he'd get exactly what he wanted tonight. His crystalline blue gaze slowly traveled over the patrons, searching with meticulous care for the individual he'd throw himself at tonight. With an inquisitive tilt of his head, the Englishman noted a particular disturbance at the bar top. He tended to avoid such altercations. They were rarely worth the time he spend in disengaging the parties involved and more often than not Sebastian was left with little more than a 'thanks' for his trouble. Still, he found his vibrant eyes lingering upon the pair of men, startled if only because for once, there wasn't a vixen that had caused such a clash in the first place, as there so often was.

It hardly took him long to realize the man in his finely dress suit (which Sebastian's keen eye too noted was not nearly as designer as the businessman wanted to make it out to be- nor was it tailored) was actually bullying the poor bedraggled fellow . This alone wasn't enough for Sebastian to step in, as unfortunate as it was. Instead his gaze shifted from the pair, finding instead a particularly provocatively dressed young woman too settled in the back of the bar. She had clearly been dumped recently as was looking for a rebound. It was a role Sebastian was more then happy to fill. Carefully he made his way through the collection of tables and down the bar, passing the pair of men just in time to observe the businessman practically stealing the shots of Vodka lined up in front of them. It wasn't this that had caused him to pause, though. Instead, it was that taste on the back of his tongue, one that clearly spoke another species was present. His eyebrows furrowed as he paused not terribly far from the pair, his attention now far more steadfast as he worked through those vampiric instincts.

Fae. He was a fae. Sebastian had met only one of their kind before and even then he had yearned for a taste of her blood upon his tongue and her skin against his. A fae. How....fascinating. It was all too easy for Sebastian to slide up to the pair, "Ah, there you are, I hope I haven't left you waiting long." He spoke towards Darien with a feigned friendliness, his english accent still strong despite the centuries that had passed. His crystalline blue gaze shifted towards the businessman, one eyebrow cocked upwards as he surveyed the man in front of him, his own affinity wordlessly blossoming to life. Pheromones were the language of the animal world - used for far more than the simple sexual exploits that Sebastian so often treasured them for. For once, he found himself actually marking his territory in a similar fashion that an Alpha wolf might mark a tree. Ah, the art of simple chemistry. The effects alone were nearly instantaneous, he could see the shift in businessman's behavior, becoming remarkably less comfortable than he had been merely moments ago.

"I believe you owe us some more Vodka, perhaps some Grey Goose, hm?" He commented towards the fellow, a far too companionably simper crossing his masculine features, revealing the pointed canines that so clearly marked his species. He watched as the businessman stumbled with a pair of bills, placing them with a far too quick gesture on the bar top. Sebastian turned away from the man, the full weight of his blue eyes instead falling upon Darien himself. "I hope you don't mind sharing?" The vampire inquired, hardly bothering to wait for a response before settling on the stool beside the fairy. He always took particular care with his body language, his body settled in such a way that he was slanted towards Darien, quite clearly open to the man alone. It had been a while since Sebastian had taken one of his own gender to bed, hopefully he still had the abilities to charm his own gender as much as he did the opposite. "You make friends easily don't you?" He inquired in a jesting fashion, hoping to initiate some sort of conversation.
