Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Vhalla was decidedly grateful in a weird sort of way that she had steeled herself against the faerie queen prior to breaking into her room. The terror she knew would be plausible on the queen's face but it still managed to crack Vhal's heart. The apology that was murmured in confusion to the assassin has another wave of anger pulsing through her as she glares down at Sam. She knew she was being extreme but it seemed to be the only way to get the woman's attention. Seeing the betrayal etch into the woman's features she has a moment of confusion before something clicks in her mind.

Gods she was an idiot. If she was going to hold Sam against her will she should have chosen a different way to do it instead of holding a knife to her throat. Furious with herself momentarily she knew she was in too deep to adjust her stance on the situation. She would beg for forgiveness later if Sam was willing to hear it. The tears forming in the faerie's eyes only causes a fresh wave of irritation to course through the assassin until Samantha is blubbering to Vhal. "Of course you wouldn't know because I didn't tell you. Do you not see how easy it would be to kill you? For gods sake Sam, you're a queen that means you will always have a target on your back," she snarls down at the woman.

"Since you wouldn't listen to reason I decided with more extreme measures, perhaps you'll listen to me now," she hisses and is utterly shocked by the bubbles that are now floating about the room, caused by the crying faerie beneath her. Brows raising incredulously the astonishment is clear on the assassin's face as she regards the bubbles with disdain. The bubbles were decidedly out of place given the current circumstances and she has the urge to laugh but realizes it would not be appropriate.

Relaxing the hold on her blade, she swiftly sheaths it in her boot and removes herself from the top of Sam. Reaching out she grabs the faerie's wrist, forcefully dragging her to her feet before the assassin. "Crying is going to get you nowhere. Attack me." Vhalla says bluntly, raising her hands she drops into a defensive position, eyeing the woman carefully, "If you can't even defend yourself how do you expect to protect Dorian or your boyfriend," she snarls at her, reaching up to push the hood from her head.

"Perhaps I'll simply go find one or the other when I leave here just to show you are truly defenseless you are," she lets that cruel smile tug up at the corner of her lips. She was certain she would hit a nerve somewhere with the woman, clearly by force wasn't cutting it but the faerie had a big heart, she was sure she could get some sort of rise out of her.
