Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The Sun Also Rises

He had anticipated, perhaps, his companions surprise at this choice of venue for their evening. After all, neither man was inclined to eat, at least, not in the traditional sense. Dorian partaking only of food in those evenings that followed Sebastian taking from him in turn and even then it was often only at the vampires insistence and that promise he had made to do as such that seemed to incline the Monarch to allow himself to eat. Dorian so often partaking of the smallest amount Sebastian deemed acceptable. Eating at any other time was near unheard of for perhaps either man unless it was done for their pleasure or Dorian's desire to try something new. It is that very idea of newness and too curiosity however, that had so prompted his interest in this particular place, his head nodded in assurance at that questioning tone he was presented with by his lover, a soft simper pulling at his features once more.

"Yes. It is something of an oddity in what it serves and I am curious of it."

He hardly makes an effort to elaborate, choosing instead to so leaving Sebastian wondering of just what sort of eating establishment might prompt any curiosity from the Fae King before he moved to deposit that textbook upon the nightstand, Dorian holding little desire to continue with it tonight. His thoughts far more inclined to consider what else they might do with their time- even if the notion of remaining in bed all evening as they had done yesterday was still an entirely appealing prospect. He reclines easily against the vampire once more, warm fingers trailing along Sebastian's own cooler skin beneath those dark sheets, his features frowning slightly in idle consideration of exactly what he was going to wear tonight, silver eyes falling upon his clothing tossed so haphazardly upon the floor. Clothes he had worn for several nights now despite the improperness of such a thing. His jeans perhaps, could be worn again, jeans are all were not inclined to wrinkle as his shirt was- the softest of chuckles finding his lips all the same as he so informed his lover of just this predicament. Dorian assured that next time he would bring several outfits, perhaps, so as he might have something to change into for each evening he intended to stay. Sebastian's voice readily sees his gaze lift towards the other man once more, the idea that the vampire would buy him things to keep here, within Sebastian's own home, was almost thrilling- in a way. How curious it was that such an offer might set his heart aflutter within his chest, Dorian so attempting to control that sudden press of emotion and affection he felt for his companion and yet while those modern notions of what such a step might mean were perhaps lost upon him if only for his never having heard of such ideals, there was a part of the man that hardly needed that understanding. The Fae King so aware that this was, somehow, something of another step to be taken. Another level of intimacy, small though it was, something that afforded a further stability to their relationship. One he found delightful, the mere idea that he might have things here seeing that grin he is unable to prevent spread across his features.

"I would like that- very much."

The words are entirely soft, laced with nothing but affection, Dorian's features softened entirely at that admittance as his fingers so continued that trail upwards. The Monarch content perhaps, to allow some physical display of that affection he felt so readily before his lips pressed softly to Sebastian's skin, working a soft, gentle trail downward before reclining upon the mans limbs once more. That impish simper surely giving away his intentions to some extent to the ever-observant vampire, one hand shifted suddenly to allow his fingertips to run the length of his companion and so stir a true reaction from him at last. Dorian as entirely as thrilled as always to stir that part of his companion into life. This time however, he hardly intends to allow the vampire to offer any retaliation for such a tease, the Fae disappearing as soon as that hand reaches towards him, reappearing upon the end of the bed to recline leisurely upon his back in a decidedly laconic manner. Dorian declaring Sebastian entirely to slow.

He had not, however, anticipated Sebastian's own ingenuity in this, the sudden appearance of the bright red thread that so bound them together drawing his own gaze before the vampire suddenly pulls upon it, tugging Dorian forward as he does- surprise so finding its way to his features. The Monarch is pulled into an upright position quite against his will, a chuckle of amusement humming within his throat. Ah, but what a use for such a thread! How he had underestimated his lover this night!

"Ah, but I think this is cheat-"

His words are abruptly silenced by the hand that presses upon the back of his neck and the lips that find his own. Dorian rewarded not but a second later with an entirely slow, sweet kiss. How he might relish the taste of this! Dorian returning that gesture all-too willingly before Sebastian's lips pulled from his own to brush along his jaw and towards his ear, the very skin on his arms seeming to rise in simple anticipation- his very form so betraying him as it often did with decidedly little effort upon his lover's part. Those whispered words seeing a simper adorn his features once more, a veritable plethora of ideas pressing upon his mind before that nip upon his ear stirs a sound of satisfaction within himself. Such a hopeless creature he was. Sebastian rolling from the bed a moment later prompting Dorian to follow in his wake, his consorts look of delight at his own deviousness earning a soft, playful roll of Dorian's own gaze before he moved to follow the naked man into that wardrobe.

For several moments he allowed the silver of his gaze to wander that expansive collection of clothes, waiting for Sebastian to so inform him of just what might be acceptable to borrow, Dorian neither as tall nor broad as his companion. The King as entirely cursed as any Fae in that regard, his form forever holding a slighter build then the majority of his supernatural counterparts- though one that was surely no less toned. Six hundred years of boredom, after all, had afforded the man endless time to find new ways in which to exercise.

"If we cannot find any suitable pants I may still be able to wear my own jeans, my shirt though, I fear, is something of a lost cause. I do not think we need dress up to much for this evening though either way, it is casual I am sure."

That distinction of formal and casual was a decidedly new one for the man, Dorian having taken delight in so learning these new phrases to best describe the dress required for a social situation. His attention lingering upon his lover still, waiting for the vampire to select something for him even if it was sure to be a little large. The idea that he might so have his own clothing within this wardrobe delighting him to consider even now. A simper so returned to his lips at the thought. It is only once they are both fully dressed that Dorian so moves to lead the way downstairs with a greeting to both Charles and Elizabeth as they passed, the Monarch heading out and onto the street, the cool air of the night nipping at his skin though he hardly found he minded. Dorian so adjusting his direction a moment later. Their destination entirely within walking distance. The Monarch paused only long enough to read out the address to his consort.

"I think though, I am finally capable of so finding such an address, I should like to try. If I go the wrong way though I should like you to correct it. I am determined I must learn these things."
