Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Dorian AragonaHis Royal Highness

There was a distinct pleasure of sorts to his lover's approval of the way in which he had so mastered the use of that modern letter sender, Dorian so unashamed to admit that feeling of pride that blossomed within him at even this thing so small. It was meaningful to him to not only master this modern world but to learn to use those gifts his lover bestowed upon him to their fullest. A look of smugness adorning his features as he glanced once more at that picture he had taken, Dorian so given to cherish each of those photographs he had of them, even if some were surely better then others. It is only then that the cold and too- the wetness afforded to the both of them in the wake of that impromptu snowball fight becomes apparent. The Monarch thoughts given to incline elsewhere as the silver of his gaze so eyed those pleasing plains of his lovers chest beneath that sodden cotton shirt, his fingers hitching within the hem to draw the vampire closer with those muted words on just that topic. His lips so eagerly found his lovers own, drawing softly upon that bottom lip in a tease of sorts. It was foolish perhaps, how much he desired Sebastian even after all these months and yet his appetite for the man was near insatiable- or so it seemed. Dorian relishing even this mere taste of him before suggesting a remedy of sorts to those damp clothes and cold air. Sebastian, it seemed, more than willing to take him up upon such an offer. The ideas that so constantly seemed to afflict Dorians mind having become something of a jest between the pair alone, even if Dorian had never yet failed to deliver upon them, his simper nearly impish at that kiss upon his cheek before he moved to take his Consorts hand once more- allowing himself to be led back towards that glorious home.

He pauses readily within the warm embrace of that hallway, Sebastian assisting him to remove those seemingly endless layers of jackets, a small amount of snow having gotten down his Christ all the same, leaving a dampened patch about the collar of his shirt that nipped with chill at his skin. Such a discomfort however was readily forgotten at the sight of that staircase in all it's grandeur, Dorian's eyes widening slightly, one hand reaching out to grace upon that fine, carved surface in clear appreciation. A series of muttered Italian words of delight passing his lips at such finery. His mind was filled with a plethora of questions from the portraits of the family members that littered the walls to the carved symbol of that family crest upon the floor and too several other oddities that caught his eye. There would surely be time, tomorrow perhaps, to ask Sebastian all manner of things about his family and indeed perhaps some of those questions that they had so carefully danced around for the better part of their relationship if only for the notion the moment never seemed quite right and yet how curious he was, to know his lover all the better, to so be allowed to know of his family. At least- what they had once been. For this evening however he allows such thoughts to pass, his mind drawn so instantly to the room ahead and Sebastian's assurance he should like it. Inquisitiveness readily overtaking his features now as the vampire pressed upon those double doors to reveal that expanse library. So many books! Ah, but how many hours he might spend in here! Dorian approaching that first shelf and its aged volumes only to see Sebastian continue onward and towards another room as if to tease his curiosity by abandoning that library now! Something almost akin to a whine drawn from his lips as he moves to follow his lover now. The vampire knowing him far too well. Knowing just how that denial of knowledge might play at his mind!

It is however, within the embrace of that pale blue bedroom that Dorian is near given to forget that library, at least for now. A look of pleasure so adorning his features at this newest of rooms, the Fae moving to do just as he had once done so many months ago within that gothic hotel, allowing his fingers to trace across those pale walls and ornate, carved pieces of furniture. How lovely it was. How very....Sebastian. Such a room lacking that modernity of the vampires home back within the city that had come from and yet too such a place held with it the intimacy of who Sebastian had once been, whom he surely still was at heart. His gaze draws away at last from that large window and the view of the gardens beneath so bathed in that moonlight, silver eyes resting instead upon that all-too exciting sight of the vampire working to remove that sodden shirt- asking to see this newest idea. A near impish simper brushing across his lips now as he gestures briefly towards that exquisite bed.

"I think, perhaps, you should sit upon the bed."

He waits only so long as it takes his lover to comply, Dorian reaching then to part those curtains just so and allow that alluring moon to be seen in full, a nod of satisfaction given before he wanders back across that room. His hand reaches easily upward and upon the wall, his finger catching that light switch to plunge that bedroom into relative darkness. Those curtains he had so positioned before doing entirely as he had intended, allowing that flood of glorious moonlight to illuminate the room in its own unique glow. Dorian so aware his vampire companion would hold no true difficulty in seeing within this new form of light, he himself so relishing in the simple beauty of that. He moved then to cross the floor again, pausing now at the foot of that bed, fingers reaching for the first button upon his own damp shirt. His voice entirely gentle now.

"This idea is- a little different. You shall have to trust me."

His fingers moved with a delicate ease, steadily working his way downward, aware entirely of that glow the moon so afforded his bare skin before that shirt was shrugged from his shoulders entirely- Dorian draping it easily over the nearest chair. One hand lifting to run through those dark locks of hair before he eases himself onto that bed and beside his lover, drawing Sebastian to him now, his lips almost greedily finding the man's own. A taste he was sure he would never tire of. His tongue presses but briefly against his companions lips, so seeking that deeper, more intimate sort of kiss that was perhaps his most favoured. Both hands lift to run his fingers through that dirty blond hair of his consort that seemed all the darker in such pale light, his tongue flicking deliberately against Sebastian's right fang in an entirely salacious fashion that brought a chuckle to his lips before he leaned away at last. His voice unable to prevent that huskiness that so readily came with those natural wants.

"I shall need you to do something for me though."

How magnificent Sebastian looked in that moonlight! Dorian allowing one hand to extend, fingers running with decided delicacy over the plains of his lovers chest, tracing each small rise and hard plain that existed beneath that too-cold skin before his silver gaze found the vampires own once more.

"My idea so requires you to have blood in your veins and too- for your heart to beat."

That soft simper traces his lips once more, hand coming to rest just above that place he knew the vampires heart to be, his own hand feeling all the more warm against that cool pallor of the man's skin. His voice entirely quiet and gentle still.

"We have a little time still before I can test my idea. Time enough, I think, to so warm you up. I have some inkling as to how we might do just that-"

Dorian pausing a final time to steal but another kiss. The Fae King assured that for this idea to work he so required his lover to be as alive as possible for a vampire and too for that closeness between them to be just a strong. Dorian shifting now to rest upon his stomach and beside Sebastian, head resting upon his hand and propped up by his elbow in an almost boyish fashion as he did. A hint of mischievousness tainting his features now.

"You are glorious you know, in this light? Just as your home and your country are in turn. I am quite sure I love them already. Thank you, Bastian, for bringing me here."
