Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I hate to think that I left him to get hurt but I know that staying would have only put him in more danger tring to keep the men away from me. It's not like I was going to be able to help. Raven is trying to teach me to defend myself but it's a slow process. I have a feeling he can handle himself but the guilt still weighs on me all the way to the house. I don't even want to picture how it went down. I just hope that he comes out of it okay. I don't want to think about the welfare of the men. The thought of them alone makes me shudder, even in the safety of Raven's house.

Then I worry that he won't find the house. I didn't give very clear instructions after all. What if he gets lost? But I'm too scared to stick my head out to look for him. What if the men are still around? When the knocks comes, I about jump out of my skin but I walk to the door and peek around it as I open it, relieved to find Davante on the other side, though the smell of blood on his knuckles makes me worry. His question makes me blink a few times before I shake my head.

"No, I don't...who's the Grim Reaper?"

Curiosity displays across my features as I wait for his answer. I start looking him over for damage and that's when I see his knuckles. He shakes his head at first and my expression softens, wanting to do something to help with the guilty feeling in my chest. After a few minutes though, he shrugs and seems to submit to my help with a nod as he moces inside the house. As he brushes past, I feel goose bumps. Probably cause I've never invited someone into the house before. I never would have thought it would be a guy either. He looks around and I suddenly feel subconscious. Does our house look any different than other houses? Does it seem dirty? I do try to clean when I'm here by myself.

He offers to start a fire and I give him a shy smile and nod before heading to the bathroom for the first aid kit. He seems to really like the fire. I can see the light in his eyes when he looks at it. The thought brings a smile to my face since I like fireplaces too. I head into the bathroom and grab the first aid kit, grabbing a bowl with some warm water in it on the way back into the living room and a soft rag. I sit on the floor in front of the fireplace, waiting for him to finish getting it set before I gingerly pat the rug next to me. I dip the rag in the water and swish it around, the actions feeling more natural than I thought it would.
