Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellington

I thought you knew I was filthy rich
I thought you knew I never answer my phone
I thought you knew I was a late night with a bad bite I thought you knew.

The Englishman's simple, unadulterated love for the fae Monarch so easily poured into every single note of that song, that knowledge that this piece of work was for Dorian alone somehow had a way of effecting that melody. It was somehow enhanced with those very sensations of adoration, pure and overwhelming to all who heard that siren song. It was near subtle, the way it so crept up upon even that vampire who so naively listened to those notes till that simple flirtatious desire filled the man, prompting that sudden shift from that sofa to Sebastian's side. Though he hadn't quite heard the man move, and perhaps he was more inattentive than he might have otherwise been, he knew well that power of his own affinity. He'd seen how that gift could so move his Italian lover. Really, was it hardly any surprise that Arlo might fall so far beneath that sway? That near flirtatious greeting was met with a simple smile before Sebastian saw fit to give the man a simple task if only to distract him in some way against that onslaught of emotions that clearly held its grip quite tight upon the poor fellow.

That obvious flexing of Arlo's muscles was regarded with the same vague interest one might praise a child for some attempt at a drawing. That physique failed to appeal to the vampire quite like his own significant others did. That was hardly to say that Arlo was not handsome in his own right but - very few beings even held a candle to the way Dorian was so capable of attracting Sebastian. Certainly part of it was lust and yet, that love he held for the man factored in just as much. How things had changed so drastically in the past year or so! Once upon a time, he would have easily jumped at the opportunity to bed that vampire that was settled at his side. Once upon a time. That touch of Arlo's foot against his own briefly drew his attention from those internal thoughts, his gaze shifted towards his companion briefly, observing the way in which Arlo attempted to seem as if he hardly did anything at all. A small frown crossed his lips and yet, Sebastian said little of the peculiar act, instead his gaze remained steadfast upon those notes as that music continually shifted to provide a fresh new way of intensity.

He was aware of that brush of Arlo's fingers as he pushed a stray lock from his eyes, the vampire muttered softly his word of thanks as he continued to play, his gaze intently settled upon those notes before him as his fingers danced across that keyboard. He was unaware, truly, of the effect those notes had upon his friend - at least, not until his own name was uttered softly from Arlo's lips. His inquiry back provided the man but the smallest shred of his attention, his focus still chiefly upon those new additions to that song, and his own efforts to afford it a proper ending. He hardly expected the way Arlo's fingertips brushed against his chin in an effort to fully hold his gaze, though the Englishman hardly fought that request. Instead, his gaze turned towards Arlo with a hint of inquisitiveness, listening all the same to that confession that came pouring out of the vampire's mouth at the end of that song. That final note lingered on for several final moments as his lips twitched upwards with an almost gentle smile. It was hardly the sort of response he was sure Arlo wanted within this moment, or one he would be satisfied with when he regained his senses and yet, even so, Sebastian made the effort to reassure the man he'd hardly forget those words. Not anytime soon, falsified though they were.

He watched with vague amusement as that magic near visible wore off on his companion - once again giving the vampire control of his own emotions. He could near see that very moment when the realization of all he'd done crossed Arlo's features, and yet Sebastian found himself unable to help that warm laughter that spilled from his lips. That groan that left Arlo's mouth as he buried his head in his hands only served to bring a grin to his features. Truthfully, he was enjoying this far more than he probably should have. He watched as Arlo tentatively split his fingers to eye him, his own blue eyes briefly met the like colored ones of Arlo's own. He knew well what Arlo was considering in those moments - whether or not that attraction between the pair of men still existed. It would have been easy enough to keep such a thing in place, if Sebastian wanted to and yet, the man was entirely aware of those promises he'd made. His blue eyes turned back towards that notebook in front of him, eying that sheet music one last time before he inquired what Arlo thought. The vampire was, if nothing else, eternally patient as Arlo took his time to collect himself in the wake of that influx of emotions. Still, he could hardly help that sense of satisfaction that the song had turned out utterly perfect.

That idle comment that he could write words to that piece, however, were waved off easily enough. Though Sebastian certainly could sing, he hardly wanted that singular moment with the fae King to be ruined by words. No, he had a plan for this very song, one that had been quite literally months in the making. This song was that final piece, the one he'd been procrastinating and agonizing over for far longer then he should have, considering how quickly the two men were capable of making everything fall so perfectly in place. That inquiry of whether or not he wanted to hear it caught the vampire off guard, his eyebrows rose ever so slightly as his gaze quickly shifted to the man beside him. No one had ever played his own music back to him before, though, he supposed Arlo had just as big of a part in that piece as he did. "Um...all right." He commented with a hint of hesitance, as if he was unsure he truly wanted to hear his work come to life in such a fashion. What surprised him even further, however, was that piano's sudden ability to play on it's own. He eyed those key's wearily, his head tilted slowly to the side as he observed the near invisible pressing of those keys. The vampire was momentarily distracted even from his own song by that peculiar phenomenon.

Still, he couldn't deny that song did sound distinctly...beautiful. The way those notes so formed that sweet, soft melody. It had turned out far better than he had expected at the beginning. All that was left now was to practice it enough between his lover's own busy schedule to be able to play it near flawlessly for the man. His head bobbed at that inquiry, "It was." He responded and yet, much of his attention was wholly directed still upon that piano, eying those keys that had once again stilled. A singular finger slowly reached out towards that key, gingerly pressing down upon it as if to test whether it would give to his pressure. It had been Arlo, hadn't it? Or did he pick some keyboard with some crazy play-by-itself capability. It certainly wouldn't have been new but...it still baffled him slightly as he with drew his finger, experimentally testing those keys to see if it would do it again. The vampire was unaware, truly, of the way Arlo seemed to so study him in that near hungry fashion, at least, not until the man's words reached out to him to draw his gaze towards those eyes of his companion. "Yes Arlo, I know." Sebastian responded, that grin once again settled upon his features. "I had forewarned you that it would happen, remember?" He had known from the beginning what he was getting himself into, at least in some regard. Truthfully, it had been far less than he had anticipated but, Sebastian had a habit of near expecting the worst out of every situation.

"Your secret is safe with me." He continued, attempting to reassure the man he hardly had any intention to inform anyone else of what had occurred tonight. After all, who would he tell? It wasn't as if he had friends to begin with and he could hardly tell Dorian why he was here playing a love song for Arlo without giving away exactly what he was doing. That idle sigh drew his attention back towards the vampire beside him. This time, however, he was unable to help that chuckle that left his lips. "You're bloody awful at it." He offered in confirmation. It was some of the worst flirting he'd experienced and Sebastian certainly had his fair share of experiences in such a realm. "If you ever find a girl you like enough to attempt to flirt with - let me know. I'll save her the embarrassment and teach you how to do it properly." He was teasing Arlo far more than he likely should have and yet, the offer was genuine, mostly. He had hardly forgotten of his promise to feed the vampire tonight and yet, he still found himself near surprised by how little control his companion had, even if he certainly shouldn't have been. A small shrug crossed his shoulders, "Where ever you prefer, I'll heal by the end of the night anyways." He knew well that he certainly had his own favorite places to take from, surely Arlo did too and, frankly, Sebastian saw little reason to deny him such small fancies. How often was it, he wondered, when the man was given the opportunity to have a willing victim? It was a luxury he believed every vampire should have at least once - it certainly made him not feel so...monsterous. Arlo deserved an opportunity to feel that.
