Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Cause i've been dancing with shadows
waiting till the morning after

That water was damn near heavenly, the warmth of it near fully embracing the chill of his vampiric frame, spreading through his body to the point that he quiet nearly felt alive. His bright blue eyes stared up at that French sky, the Englishman far more...happy with his life then he could ever truly remember being before. Even despite the distance between the pair, Sebastian was still innately aware of the Italian Monarch. Every beat of his heart, every breath that he took, the sound of those fingers moving across the laptop's keys. That sudden silence drew his gaze, even as the man floated upon his back. He watched as Dorian's eyes turned towards that large estate that near loomed over them, the beauty of that French hillside certainly could not be ignored. A warm simper danced across his features, though, of late, the mere sight of Dorian was easily able to coax that grin upon his face. It was funny, really, how that small shift in their relationship was so capable of bringing back those same emotions as those first few nights they'd met - the warmth in his stomach, the flutter in his chest. He turned his attention back towards that sky, that smile still present even as his thoughts turned back towards those crumbling chateaus that had occupied his mind since the pair had stumbled upon them the previous evening.

He had already taken the last bits of the night prior to do some preemptive research on those chateaus, the vampire entirely determined to purchase and repair one. Many, after all, were far too beautiful to simply allow to crumble into decay. The only question was which one. It was this, truly, that occupied his thoughts far more than his own upcoming nuptials. After all, Sebastian had quickly come to realize that such a wedding was hardly one that would occur anytime in the near future. The announcement of their betrothal had prompted a reaction not only from Italy but the world at large, one that the vampire truly hadn't anticipated. He knew, naturally, of his fiance's status as King and yet, he had never truly been prepared to join a royal family. Such an accomplishment was one his family, and himself, had never truly anticipated. Even after the near year at Dorian's side, he still found himself caught unready for that spotlight that was near thrust upon them. Still, here, within Matteo's own palace of sorts, they had been gifted with a bit of peace before the veritable media storm found them and swallowed them whole.

It was that soft sound of his fiance's voice that drew the vampire from his thoughts, his attention turned inquisitively towards Dorian. "On time?" He inquired, that glimpse of curiosity quite clear upon his features. He knew better, truly, then to ask the fae King of what exactly they were required to be on time for, after all Dorian was ever keen on his efforts to simply leave the vampire waiting...and wondering. Still, he was almost remiss to leave the warmth of that pool, even as he shifted positions from his back to make his way towards the edge of that water. The vampire lifted himself from the depths of the water, the warm evening air still somehow cool against his skin after the temperature of that water. That towel was gratefully accepted, the cotton material wrapped around his figure in a fashion altogether snug. He was hardly oblivious to the fashion at which Dorian so quickly seemed to step out of his reach, even if Sebastian knew well it hardly would have stopped him if he felt particularly determined. Still, he couldn't help that near mischievous look to his features as he momentarily considered just how his lover's fit physique might look beneath that small sheen of wetness. It was those small considerations that so attracted him to his lover, that lust he had for the man nearly relentless.

That sudden familiar tone of that laptop drew his gaze, those more lustful considerations and mischievous thoughts quite near de-railed by that singular sound. His bare feet padded across the hard floor as he followed Dorian towards that laptop. He fell into step with the Italian Monarch, his gaze falling upon the familiar face of Elizabeth. "Hey Liz." He commented flippantly towards the young woman, that clearly good mood apparently had caused the usual formalities to fall to the wayside. That grin once again fluttered across his features at the presence of that squirmy little puppy. Maxwell had certainly been missed in their time abroad, the dog had quickly become a part of their peculiar makeshift family of sorts. Although he had perhaps not admitted it, the puppy's first day of training had been of equal importance to him. He had wanted to be there for such a lesson and yet....that date of that proposal could certainly not change, much less the things that had to be taken care of in the wake of such an engagement. Still, that idle comment that Maxwell had been far more interested in another dog then his own training prompted a snort from his own nose. How unsurprising it was! Still, he allowed Dorian to say his goodbyes, the vampire following suit.

That teasing tone to his lover's voice prompted a warm chuckle from his own lips, his head shaking ever so slightly in the process. "He's a puppy still, do you remember the first time you attempted to woo a woman?" He inquired, his voice entirely light all the same. Maxwell would surely grow into such a thing, though whether or not Sebastian wanted him to was a whole different affair entirely. For tonight, however, Maxwell's infatuation with that spotted dog was hardly on the forefront of his thoughts, particularly not as Dorian's fingers intertwined with his own. Rather, Sebastian easily fell in step beside his lover as Dorian led the way up that marble staircase and towards that room they had been given. His towel was tossed easily upon that comforter beside that laptop, the vampire hardly prepared for that kiss and yet, that fluttering sensation of Dorian's lips against his cheek caused his bright blue eyes to soften. Sebastian relished in those small glimpses of affection, regardless of how frequent they were of late. That love, apparently, was still as eclipsing as it ever was. Fortunately, it was in that moment Dorian saw fit to release his hand, reaching for that shirt. It was with some measure of reluctance that Sebastian turned towards that walk in closet, pausing only at the suggestion that they pack an extra pair of clothing. That near impish look upon the fae's features hardly went unnoticed by the Englishman, his own eyebrows rose ever so slightly in response. "Sounds like fun." He commented idly, a knowing sort of smirk pulled at the corner of his lips.

It was that mention of that very wardrobe he intended to step into that caught his interest, a glimpse of surprise settled upon Sebastian's features. His attention turned briefly towards that closet, the vampire wholly content to test this newfound discovery. He stepped into that room, watching as it lit up quite abruptly to his presence before the man stepped back into the bedroom, that closet dimming in turn but moments later. He was entirely content to follow the procedure several more times, simply amused by that change in hue, at least, until a faint blue color entered that rotation, this color apparently satisfactory enough to prompt the man to stay within that walk in closet. "Why on earth would you want either of these things?" He commented to the fae King as he reached for a shirt. "It seems like it would get....annoying after a while." Particularly a singing pantry. Although he was fairly certain Elizabeth and Charles would absolutely murder him if he installed such features into his own home without their knowledge. At the very least he supposed their reaction would be worth the whole affair. Those swimming trunks were quickly abandoned for a pair of actual jeans, followed by a polo shirt, the buttons of which were purposefully left undone. "Sometimes, your father baffles me." He continued, more to himself truly as he emerged from that wardrobe, the man glancing back at it with a small shake of his head.
