Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The act of removing the bullet was draining. It had taken all of her strength, the metal causing a small allergic reaction which was causing the wound not to immediately seal. It would heal after a few days, but it would leave her feeling drained tonight. She knew that Troy's blood would help her healing, but knowing the amount of energy it took for him to fight off their attackers, she did not want to drain him further. So she had settled on one of her donors, one who was unique in the sense that he could heal far faster than most. Surely his blood would counter-act the poison as would Troy's.

At his insistence to get her to bed, she did not argue. She wrapped her arm around his and allowed him to lead her up the steps towards the bedroom. She knew the staff would clean up the mess they made in the kitchen.

As soon as they got to the top of the stairs, instead of going left towards their bedroom, she went right towards the nursery. She softly opened the door once more and stepped into the room to peer down into the crib where Tenley lay sleeping as peaceful as ever. Only when she was sure the child was fine, she headed back to her own bedroom.

As soon as the door closed behind Troy and Amelia, she sighed softly. Slowly, she began to remove the dress and hang it up in the closet. As she exited the room wearing only her panties, she sifted through the dresser drawers and pulled out one of Troy's old t-shirts and slipped it over her head, careful of her injury.

While she waited for Troy to change, she slipped into the bed and pulled the covers up to her abdomen. She rolled on her side so she could look up at him. "I thought I was going to lose you tonight...or you and Tenley would lose me..." She had never been so scared. Normally she would put on a brave face, but tonight she couldn't. She even felt the warmth of her tears as they threatened to fall.
