Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sterling hardly anticipated that glimpse of mischief upon Henry's features as his boyfriend reached out, intervening in his efforts to set the table. An almost inquisitive glimpse crossed his features as Henry inquired his preference for tonight's beverage. "Oh...uh....whatever...?" He commented, almost nonchalantly. The warlock was left standing there equally as baffled as Henry moved away from him, only to head down the hallway to the closet. Tentatively, Sterling peeked his head down the hallway, entirely curious as to what Henry was getting into that demanded the man's attention so suddenly, much less that interruption of his efforts to prepare dinner. He watched from afar as Henry tried to ruffle through several of the objects within, only to emerge with a single package tucked under his arm. His eyebrow rose and yet, he said nothing as he watched Henry return to the living room, ripping open the package in the process only to pull out a table cloth. Sterling could hardly help the soft chuckle on his lips as he watched his boyfriend spread it out over the table, creases and all. It was a lovely enough tablecloth, he supposed, and yet, it was simply so domestic that he could hardly help that grin on his lips. How unexpected.

Sterling leaned against the center island, fully realizing by now that he was mostly banned from any effort to assist in their 'date' tonight - food aside. The boy leaned against his hand as he simply watched Henry's efforts, setting the table with plates and forks and knives and, as per Henry's usual taste, that alcohol the man so often indulged in. He was surprised, really, when Henry finished the plating with two tea candles in two empty mason jars, only to light the small little flames to create a decidedly romantic place for dinner. It was so...endearing and still so drastically different then anything the couple had ever since that fateful night upon the cruise ship. His blue eyes met the like color ones of Henry's own, for a moment, before he nodded in ready agreement. He turned towards the oven, reaching for the oven mits to grab the food only to find himself tugged against Henry's frame. Sterling glanced up in surprise, his lips pressed ever so gingerly against Henry's own only for that soft celebratory word left his boyfriend's lips. A small grin tugged at his features and yet - this made perfect sense. Had it really been long since he had found Henry again? How had he forgotten that it was today.

"Happy Anniversary, Henry." He uttered softly, his free hand reaching up to settle behind Henry's neck as his lips pressed back against his boyfriend's own. That kiss was tender and fleeting before he pulled away, entirely determine to rescue dinner from the oven lest it burn and their date was ruined by just how tantalizing his boyfriend could be. Slowly he stepped away from Henry only to pull open the door for the oven and retrieve his lamb and Henry's vegetables. He placed both sheets on the stove, only to reach for a pair of serving plates as he glanced over at his boyfriend, "Want to lower the lights some?" Sterling inquired, well aware of Henry's affinity and his ability to, therefor, set the mood even further without plunging them entirely in the darkness that the warlock, to this day, still abhorred. If Henry was going to make this into a romantic date, they might as well go all out, as far as Sterling was concerned.
