Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
Collars were for pets and Abigail was absolutely totally NOT a pet! The last thing she needed was a collar! She was not a thing to be owned! Nope! Not her! And yet, there was little she could do to prevent herself from getting just that, her little legs flailing ever so slightly as she was held, rather against her will, and taken deeper into the manor. That office was merely eyed with a hint of helplessness before she was hefted up towards the display case and the sparkly necklace within. Her hazel eyes grew at the mere sight of the diamond necklace. It was so....so shiny! She'd never seen anything like that EVER before! The last thing that Abigail had anticipated was to be set down on the ground to have that....that...THING fastened around her neck! It must be like A BAGILLION dollars just SITTING on her neck! What if she broke it. What if all the diamonds exploded everywhere and it was all her fault?! The very declaration that it was hers prompted a sound almost like a gasp from the girl's lips as she looked up at Anna-Marie. Surely the girl didn't..mean it...right? There was like....NO way that she was being gifted something like this! Much less that the child knew exactly what it's value was!

The sudden presence of that sweet red fruit momentarily distracted the young girl from her fretting over the necklace that hung weightily around her fluffy fur. Delicately, she took the treat between her teeth, only to watch as the vampire gestured her around the corner. Carefully, Abigail waddled after her, taking particular care with the placement of her feetsies and to not wiggle TOO too much less it only broke that super duper expensive necklace....somehow. That giggle on Anna-Marie's lips caused her gaze to lift upwards in an almost baffled fashion. A soft squeak left her lips as Anna-Marie reached down to heft her upwards and place her on the counter. Her tail flopped behind her as she watched the child pick up a small plastic container of cupcakes, only to plop one of those sickeningly sweet smelling....things in front of her. That confused look upon her features seemed to prompt a ready explanation from the vampire. She had never had a cupcake before....had she....no, wait....she had! Once! But it was like...way way way way bigger than this! This was so itsy bitsy! And definitely not like any cup she had ever seen! She leaned forward, her nose sniffing only to halfway trip into the icing. A far louder squeak settled on her lips as she abruptly pulled her nose away, that laughter from Anna-Marie only caused her nose to wiggle as she tried to lick at the sweet frosting. This was SOOOO not going well!

The sight of the strawberry that Anna-Marie pulled from her pocket was quick to distract her from the frosting on her nose, however. The young panda all but abandoned the cake in favor of that juicy fruit. She nibbled upon the strawberry, her attention deviating only at the topic of the park that she both delighted in and fretted over all at once. After all, what if she BROKE the necklace there! Still, it was the girl's insistence that she was likely to get tired that caused her head to tilt ever so slightly. She watched as Anna-Marie slid off her stool, biting in the cupcake all the while as the girl began to dig through her pantry. Abigail watched as Anna-Marie rifled through the pantry only to pull out a canvas bag. Her head tilted inquisitively as the girl brought the bag over only to present it to her with a hint of glee. Really, she hadn't expected for the girl to carry her all the way to the park, even if it was...rather convenient. Her tail wiggled as she chirped in response, clearly accepting this idea. After all, it meant less harm could come to the giant sparkly thing around her neck right? Another bite of that cupcake was taken, finishing off the treat before she waddled towards the edge of the table, her butt wiggling with the clear intention to jump off if Anna-Marie didn't help the Red Panda down.
