Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Hold on to this lullaby; even when the music's gone
It is the noise that startles her from her dancing, she wasn't even aware that the music had been loud enough to wake him and honestly she didn't even think to use the packbond to see if he was actually in the house. But why wouldn't be he? She did remember her father leaving for days at a time on business so she just assumed that it would be similar. She'd been humming along to the music, the nameless song drifting from the radio but upon his entrance she is wide-eyed with her finger raised to her lips, frozen in mid-air. She finishes this trek with a shrug as he walks on by and goes back to following her directions. It is his casual appraisal that she misses but even she notices that he actually sees her, if she were home, there'd be no thoughts to what she was doing. While clothing had been all but recommended, her siblings knew to leave her alone after a shift. As he turns on the kettle, she goes back to her icing and testing the coolness of the cake before he asks his question, "Breakfast?" She queries, frowning, "Oh!"

She puts the bowl back on the counter, as she searches for the timer she'd discarded among the countertops. She holds it up then, "Five minutes, I forgot I was hungry, that would have scared me," she is grinning at this and tossing the timer back on the counter. She returns to her baking then, tugging the bowl back towards her and after a bit more vanilla taste tests again as he looks at her. "I do not think I like these discussions too much," She says, almost sullenly, usually it was someone telling her she couldn't do something. When he is done she stares at him for a heartbeatâ€"then twoâ€""Do you?" It is a curious question as she tilts her head to the side, studying him.

"This is another human-thing isn't it?" She sighs, "Don't they have any fun? 'Cause it doesn't seem like it," she is gesturing with the spoon then. He is frowning and she finds herself wanting to smooth it out so it doesn't mark his features any longer. "Theâ€"" She searches for the correct word, "Nerve-endings? These are likeâ€"electricityâ€"after shifting, clothing agitates this." She explains as she's never had to do before. When he gestures for the bowl of icing she stares at him and then back down at the bowl before going back to him before silently padding over, her feet barely a whisper upon the tile. "Plans? No..no plans," She tilts the bowl towards him, "Iâ€"do not know how to accomplish that, it always happens." She turns towards the oven as the timer goes off before placing the bowl down and tugging out the concoction she'd made, "It is aâ€"quiche," she says, testing this word against her tongue, clearly she was found of tossing items together and seeing what she could come up with.
