Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The Sun Also Rises

That very repeat invitation Sebastian and himself had so received from that singular and only other vampire and Fae couple they had known had hardly been unanticipated. After all, their previous evening had been decidedly interrupted by the birth of Troy and Amelia's child. That very pregnancy nothing short of an anomaly in every sense and one that had thoroughly captivated Dorian's own curiosity in every sense. The idea of a vampire child, after all, was nothing short of baffling! The very existence of such a being was illogical and yet, somehow Troy and Amelia had managed to defy those very laws of nature itself. How very caught up he was so capable of finding himself in such considerations. Dorian rather intrigued to see that child again. The girl had appeared older then he had anticipated at their wedding, the Fae King decidedly curious to see whether she had aged further it only to satisfy his own curiosity on the matter. Sebastian and himself having remained nothing short of utterly silent upon the girls existence at all- just as had been requested of them. Yet still, another matter of sorts so turned within the Monarch's mind- one he had not, in all his near six hundred years of life, been so forced to navigate before. The matter of tupperware.

That very night they had last visited Troy and Amelia had resulted in Sebastian and himself so leaving that lavish home with there meals in containers. The sheer novelty of such a thing having near fascinated at the Monarch for days! Dorian never before having experienced that very concept. How shocking it had been. How very strange. How socially obscure. Yet just what had so eventually become of those very containers they had been given he hardly knew. Dorian decidedly concerned Troy and Amelia might simply expect to....have them returned. Sebastian had insisted such a thing was unlikely and yet still, Dorian found himself rather hopefully they would not be forced to tread such a social minefield as that. The Monarch dismissing such thoughts for now as he ran that razor over his chin and lower jaw. How much he knew Sebastian appreciated that stubble and yet how quickly it was inclined to continue to grow when allowed. Dorian winching ever so slightly at that tiny cut he had so caused with that final stroke, that singular drop of blood easily washed away before the Monarch lifted that plush towel to his face to dry it entirely. His features thoroughly clean shaven once more.

"Bastian? Are you ready?"

His fingers worked to neatly fix that tie at his neck before he so strode from that bathroom and into their bedroom in search off his husband. Sebastian so applying the final touches to his own outfit as Dorian so moved to press his lips to the vampires cheek in that ready affection and to prompt that decidedly adorable smile to his lovers lips. That near curious look Sebastian so offered him a moment later prompting his own pause in turn.

"Oh, I cut myself shaving. It is very small, you needn't worry. I have every belief I shall continue to live."

That warm simper so found his lips in turn at those decidedly teasing words. Dorian chuckling softly then before reaching for his husbands hand to lead the way downstairs and at last out and onto the street. Troy and Amelia's home easily within walking distance. Dorian thoroughly inclined to enjoy that evening air and a night away from the paperwork that lay piled high upon his desk. Those very riots in paris, while hardly a concern for his own country, had taken a toll upon the economy of Europe at large. Dorian equally concerned for Matteo in turn- even if the Frenchman insisted he was entirely fine. His Father at last conceding to spending at least a few nights a week in Sacrosanct until those riots settled. Alexander so having drawn the short straw of hosting him tonight. It hardly took long to reach Troy and Amelia's own large home. Dorian content to keep his hand nestled within his husbands own as they strode up to that door. The Monarch's hand lifted to press that doorbell then. The sound of it echoing throughout that house within. Dorian so glancing toward Sebastian once more, that soft chuckle so rising within his throat.

"Darling, my face is fine, I can feel you staring. Perhaps you can...attend to it when we get home?"

One eye lifted just so. Just exactly what such words might mean remained to be seen. Dorian wholly content to allow Sebastian's thoughts to linger anywhere they might desire. That impish simper so dancing upon his features before that door opened to receive them.
