Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Raven was rather eager to talk about her honeymoon with her Fae friend. He would probably like to hear all the stories about their shenanigans. Her spotted companion was always eager to share any experience with her. As a shy and quiet woman she was happy to have a partner that was her complete opposite. Tobias always knew how to pry her out of her shell whether he did it gently, or forcefully. Africa may not seem like the correct honeymoon destination and yet the two of them were not normal people. Of course being away from her pack made her feel guilty, especially when she was taking Tobias away from Tetradore...or was it the other way around? She understood that the two of them were close. The night she met Tobias he mentioned he was looking for his long lost brother...and he also managed to get himself trapped to fall in the water at the docks. Their meeting was a bit rocky, but each time they ran into one another things just...naturally fell into place. It wasn't hard to see the King of Italy give her small simper, but she didn't notice it was meant to be playful. That word 'darling' caught her off guard, she hadn't been given a nickname like that before. A small frown appeared as he talked about staying in bed with his husband all the time, how awful, but he seemed so...satisfied? Her voice held a soft hesitation as she attempted to understand his positive output of his honeymoon.

"Um...are you sure? We're supposed to be sick on our honeymoon? I am sorry you and Sebastian were very unwell during your time alone together. Maybe you two could try again? Tobias and I had a ton of fun!"

The poor girl had no idea Dorian was alluding to how many times he and his husband had fun together. Such talks, in her mind, was inappropriate to have with others even those you are closest too. In fact she and her mate never discussed such things. Raven wouldn't even know what to say or how to even begin having such a conversation. Certain topics should just be off-limits, she was sure, especially with someone from royalty. The lupine leaned more into her chair feeling the embrace of the warmth radiating from the heaters, finding it comforting. Taking a shortbread after he did she placed it on her plate, keeping an eye on him to see when he would eat it. Hearing that Dorian didn't feel any different after marrying Sebastian made her grin, satisfied in knowing that there wasn't anything wrong in her own marriage. Her suggestion on taking care of the paparazzi, to her, made sense to do. Give them something to be afraid of and maybe they'll stay away. Even if Dorian was able to reject her idea with reason, good reason too, she still thought it would be helpful. He was a King, weren't Kings capable of doing what they pleased? Shrugging her shoulders she lifted her cup and took another sip of her tea, after speaking.

"But you are a King, you can tell others what to do and they obey. It's how it works in our pack. If Tetra has to tell us something we follow. Tell them you will stay here, no matter what."

It was simple as that in her eyes. He was Alpha and therefore he could say what he wanted and demand from others to do as he pleased. As Dorian bit into his shortbread the lupine followed suit, munching on it slowly. Listening to him speak about his mate brought a smile to her face. He always seemed happy to speak about his other half. She would be concerned if he didn't appear happy when talking about Sebastian. When turned the conversation towards his wedding gift there was a look of apprehension appearing on her face. Setting her tea cup down, she grabbed onto her fingers, wringing slowly, in typical nervous habit. Somberly she shook her head speaking quite softly, her eyes shifting upwards to see his silver gaze.

"Yes, about that...I know you meant well with the gift but...I really ought to return it to you. I mean a golden tea set...Dorian, that is absolutely expensive, generous but expensive. My mate loves shiny, glittery things...he would steal those items from the set and do God knows what with it. If I lost just one piece of the set I would be so anxious I'd lose my mind. I am so sorry Dorian, I know it's completely rude of me."
