Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

My own Form of CHAOS

He thought the whole idea of how Yumi fed was fascinating and wished he knew more about the process but he knew how shy she was about it so he wouldn't ask. She'd probably get embarrassed and he didn't want that. So instead he could only watch as she closed her eyes. If he concentrated hard enough, he swore he could see a difference come over her, like her whole demeanor changed in an instant. When she reopened her eyes, she was a different person, but still the Yumi he cared about. In a way, she seemed more whole like this, but he knew it was just a facade, a temporary release from her normal because she fed. He'd take it cause this might be as close as he could get to the old Yumi for a long time. Until she had time to heal anyway.

She didn't seem bothered at all when he said they didn't have the right menu for his kind of food. Instead she brushed the idea aside physically with her hand which brought a smirk to his lips as she said they have something for everyone. He leaned back in his chair, his arms spreading across the back of the seat as he tilted his head. "Fine then, surprise me." He challenged. He watched with a twinkle in his eyes as she then waved over the waitress to order a bit of just about everything it seemed. Even the waitress seemed surprised but Damon only chuckled as she walked away. Of course, that only lasted a second because Yumi then asked who he wanted to eat, pointing out that the waitress might be "yummy." His brow lifted in fresh surprise as he studied her for a moment.

He had to remind himself that she was bolstered by borrowed confidence from her quarry because he still saw the fragile Yumi in her eyes and it made him hesitate to even show an ounce of his true nature. The Yumi he knew now would probably shrivel against a wall in fright if he were to even tease about biting someone and yet here she was, asking like it was the next thing to be ordered on the menu. He didn't want to unbalance her mood but he also didn't want to risk her being frightened of him so it was a very fine line, at least in his mind. Maybe he was just overthinking it. He sighed and turned his head to watch the waitress walk away before he turned back to Yumi with the lazy smirk back in place. "She certainly could. Shall I wait on our order before I make my move?"
