Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Walk me home in the dead of night
I can't be alone with all that's on my mind

Admittedly Carolina felt a little silly as their entire party made its way up the stairs to the third floor, those cliché sunglassed shadows trailing just behind the pair. No doubt Sebastian had made peace with his need for such security, but travelling with an entourage was so far from her norm that she couldn't resist glancing back at them from time to time as they ascended. One hand holding the tempered warmth of the cup she had brought up from the car and the other wrapped delicately within the vampire's own. Only as they drew near the top floor did she reluctantly pull her fingers from his grasp to dig into the depth of her purse for her key as they approached that apartment. Sebastian, of course, needed no direction as to which was hers. He had been the one to secure it for her originally all those months ago, the images of how they had christened that empty space bringing new heat to her face.

Despite the distraction of such thoughts and having the charming incubus at her back, Carolina managed to open the door deftly. Turning the nob enough to crack the entrance before turning to those bodyguards quickly and swiping the Styrofoam containers one carried so obediently with a light smile before sliding into the familiarity of her flat. She didn't want those dark figures to feel any need to enter her own personal sanctuary or to impede the privacy it would offer Sebastian and herself.

Flipping on the lights to the kitchen and the living room the leopard swayed lightly on her feet, nearly dancing in the familiar space that put her so at ease. She set the containers with those delicious crepes on the counter before turning to see if the prince had been able to slough off those watchful eyes for the evening as she heard the door softly click behind him. An easy smile all she offered him, thinking that she should get them some plates on which to enjoy their treat and yet finding herself a touch distracted by the view.
