Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Amelia couldn't remember the last time she was this nervous. She and Troy had been a couple for a long time. Each day their love for each other grew stronger and each day Amelia wondered how she had gotten so lucky. She had a man who loved her and a daughter who was born against all odds and adored her parents completely. Amelia had it made. Her family was so very precious to her. With Troy's brother now back in his life, it was time she got to know his family. After all, they would be invited to the wedding.

Just as the sun was starting to set, the vampire was up and in the shower. She made sure to use a body wash that made her smell like roses and a shampoo that made her hair look full smooth, sleek, and full. She had picked out a dark red cocktail dress, one that accentuated her curves in only the best ways.

As she stood in the bathroom fixing her makeup and her hair, she admired the dress on her form. "Troy? What time are they coming again? I want to make sure I'm ready!" While they were only coming by for drinks and desert (because it seemed every time they invited someone over for dinner, something weird happened), Amelia wanted to be a good host and didn't want to be late.

Finishing up her make up and her hair, Amelia stepped into the bedroom she shared with Troy and slipped on her black heels. Standing at her vanity, she put on a beautiful diamond necklace and earrings to match. "Did Tenley make it to the baby sitter's alright?" While she wanted her daughter to mee her uncle, Amelia was still very protective of her. If the wrong people knew that a vampire had birthed a child, Tenley could be put in a lot of danger. Not to mention, the child was still learning to control her instincts and with two other fairies in the house tonight, Amelia was worried it might be too much for her. Even as it stood, Amelia hoped she was strong enough to resist as well.
