Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The stars in their orbits

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Nadya had spent the day like every other this last week, caring for the twins which consisted of feeding, changing, and entertaining them until they fell asleep in which she would pass out too. And then came the challenge of packing them up and taking them with her to work and the difficult job of going back and forth between her office to care for them and tending to her business. Luckily there was a fairy she had found as a caregiver to help out in her office but it didn't make the days any easier to get through. She had just successfully managed a dual meltdown on the twins part when there was a rap on the door. It was more curious than it might be for others seeing as there never were any visitors. None that didn't involve Tobias simply knocking the door off its hinges. Nadya was convinced the maintenance people were going to start charging for repairing it.

The exhaustion caring for one baby was hard enough but two was definitely taking its toll on her. Nadya raked a hand through her hair in attempt to calm the mused mess. Who was on the other side was certainly not someone she expected to ever see again. "You." Immediately she quirked an eyebrow as Frost held out a basket of presumably well-intentioned goodies, only two of which were actually of any use. She slowly withdrew the crinkly horse shaped toy with a hint of amusement pulling the corners of her lips into a smirk. "How appropriate, now they can start early developing a taste for horse." She stuck the horse back in the bag taking the next offering of cards. No one had offered Nadya anything in congratulations for the twins so the fact that this relative stranger had come to her door with gifts was...curious.

Without a word Nadya turned around and walked down the hall leaving the door open. "Close the door, you're letting all the cool air out!" She called over her shoulder before she returned to the living room and set the bag of goodies down on the couch. The twins were settled in a slowly swinging mobile swing and despite the calming movement were wide awake. At least they weren't screaming. Nadya took the horse toy from the bag and moved over to the mobile, shaking the toy in front of them before setting it down on them. Micah's eyes were wide as he took in the brightly colored toy, his arms waving erratically as his coordination was still poor, though eventually managed to grab the toy and shove it in his mouth. "So, why are you really here?" Nadya's gaze returned to Frost, not even bothering to question him on how he found out where she lived as she knew very well how someone with a will can find a way.
