Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

If he did heear my loud stomach, he's choosing to ignore it, not that I expect him to feed me. I've got plenty of means to get my own food, namely stealing because I've still got my ability of running without sound. That hot dog vendor doesn't stand a chance against the wiley fox that keeps taking his weekly rations. At his sudden comment, I look up as if startled, tilting my head. "Huh? Who cheats?" I can't help but ask. Did I say something without knowing it? I scowl even further at his answer to the words I do know I said out loud though.

"Two wrongs don't make a right. That just makes you as dirty as they are." My brows furrow in a scolding manner. At his sudden call for me to tell the story he wants me to tell, my jaw clenches in defiance and his words only harden my gaze more. "Anything different about the truth is still a lie. You don't have to explain it but I don't have to comply either. What are you going to do, give me hypothermia?" I cross my arms in anticipation, my shield already kicking in for further protection should he think to remind me of his powers. Believe me, I never forget.

I put on the clothes he gives me though and follow him downstairs, accepting the fact that maybe I'll have to do some things he asks but only the ones I deem necessary. I'm NOT his minion or his pack member. I do the drawing as he asks, choosing to ignore the quirk of his brow when he sees my stick figure. I frown at his insult though. "I'd like to see you do better." I dare him. At his question, I lean back before nodding. "Yeah, that's how I can reach out to protect other people. I just imagine how I want it shaped and it happens."

I tilt my head as he starts to speak further, one brow rising as I try to follow. I contemplate for a moment before answering. "I can project it, but only so far. The person I'm protecting has to be within a few feet of me or it feels too weak to actually do anything. I've never tried to force it away from myself completely; that kinda seems to defeat the purpose, don't you think? I've never been able to do it rapidly UNLESS I'm afraid but at other times, I can sort of summon it, just not as efficiently or quickly." I wonder if that answered his questions.

His last words leave me wary. So far I haven't exactly been a fan of his ideas.
