Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

fading into oblivion

kissing death and loosing my breath

The young witch was entirely oblivious to the fashion at which the hunter's gaze roved her feminine figure, even though such a reaction was one she had sought for so diligently when she initially had chosen her outfit only an hour prior. Instead, however, the entirety of her interest was steadfast upon the two, rather irritated looking puncture holes in the side of his neck, a small frown marring her features as she realized exactly what had to have occurred in order for him to have such wounds. She could hardly help herself as she reached out, her fingertips tenderly touching the skin surrounding the mark if only to better judge whatever fashion it might have afflicted him. It wasn't until his own hand raised to his neck that Serafina withdrew her touch, suddenly aware of the fashion in which his body seemed taunt by her proximity. Slowly, the girl stepped back, a small frown settling upon her lips in the fashion at which he dismissed the bite all together. After all, fixing this was fully within her capabilities and it irked her to not help when she both could and, more importantly, when she wanted to. Despite such a thing, she fully expected the man to decline her request to assist, her slate tinged gaze steadfast upon him despite the stern look that had settled within the depths of his gaze.

For the moment, Serafina watched every facet of him - she observed the way he shifted almost comfortably beneath her stare, just as she observed the fashion that whatever words he was about to offer her never fully left his lips. She watched him for a moment longer before that single syllable left his lips and a soft sigh left the girl's lips as her stormy gaze rolled ever so slightly at his response. Although he conceded, she could tell by tone alone that it was with clear reserve. Still - she would take what she could get. "Thank you." She uttered softly in response before turning on her heels, stepping back over the threshold of her home with a renewed sense of purpose. She had every intent to ensure the dark hunter was cared for before he changed his mind. His inquiry drew her mind from her purpose and slowly, Serafina bobbed her head, "You can in the kitchen if you want." She responded with a small shrug, moving to fetch a mason jar with a greenish hued gel inside of it.

She was hardly surprised by the prudence in which he regarded her with and in a perhaps stereotypical fashion she retorted in absolute seriousness - "I'm just going to take some skin off your neck and then use blood magic to ritualistically grow it back but I need you to swallow a toad while I draw a pentagram around you in salt." She waited for the look of horror she knew would come, her features breaking out into a warm simper before she shook her head, her lips opening before the man could reject her. "I'm kidding, I promise. I'm just going to put a salve on it." She popped the top of the jar in her hands, delicately dipping her fingertip to take a small dollop of the gooey substance as she stepped forward to gingerly work it into his skin. "It's base is made from gel of aloe vera which will help with the itching and stimulate the growth of your skin cells. It has gotu kola which helps to prevent scars, calendula or marigolds, which increases blood flow to your wound and helps with the inflammation and protects against infection. The yarrow root helps to stop the bleeding and there's a little bit of my blood in it to make the herbs more effective so they heal faster than they otherwise would."

Despite the fashion her manicured fingertips worked the salve into his flesh, her gaze momentarily shifted from the man's shoulder to his features, her eyes distracted just long enough to observe him. She had the taste of him once and she couldn't help the want to press her lips against his. Her lips pressed together, forcing herself back to resolved inactivity. After all, she knew well just how uncomfortable she made him and frankly she hated how much she actually liked him. Slowly, Serafina pulled her fingertips away from his skin, pushing the top back onto the mason jar before depositing on the counter. "That wasn't so bad - was it?"
