Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The faerie queen couldn't help but fail to understand that this was all a trick. No, the girl seemed to be locked entirely within her own mind. Everything was a blur of real, genuine fear. She couldn't help but picture the girls and their hold on her, imaging herself locked within their grasp again. She imagined the torture again, this time mixed with the touch of iron on her skin. She could almost feel the burn of it. She could imagine them getting their hands on Ivy or Dorian. She could imagine them going after Aiden or Nadya or Raven or Tobi. The people she loved were in danger, and she didn't have a way to protect them. Aiden... Aiden she was sure that he could protect himself. But the others? No, there was no way of knowing. They were devious and tricky and would likely kill her and everyone she loved. And oh, God. Frost. What if his own death was by their hands? It was that that had her blue, tear-filled eyes raising up to look at the snowy haired man beside her.

The pleaded warning that she issued him seemed to surprise him. Had it been any other circumstance, she was sure it would have brought a laugh to her features. She reached out, her fingers brushing on his arm as she pleaded for him to be careful. If they hurt him... because of her... the guilt would be entirely too much. She'd have to go find the nearest Hunter and beg for them to end it. Still, the man seemed unconcerned by the issue of his own safety. She had no doubts that he was strong and able to defend himself, but the reassurance was enough to settle her breathing enough to draw her grip away from his arm. "Be careful all the same. I couldn't bear of they hurt someone I care about. And you've been nothing short of an amazing friend, Frost. Coming here... you've risked so much to make sure I'm safe. Thank you."

The girl merely allowed the silence to settle between them, pulling her body closer into a ball until she was effectively curled up. She counted in her head slowly, assuring that her breathing would come to a readily normal pace before she looked up, responding to the man's words. "Yes, Dorian should be here already..." The brief moment of concern for him was quickly pushed aside. He was fine, he was fine. He wouldn't be hurt. No, he would be home soon and she would insist they curl up on the couch and watch a movie. Second to Aiden, she found that Dorian was the most comforting person in her life. The girl moved suddenly, pushing herself to her feet as she considered his question. "No, no... I... you're already risking a lot being here. Warning me... thank you." She shook her head, reaching up to play with the strands of blonde hair that cascaded around her face.

She moved suddenly, the girl concerned entirely that he would be unsafe now that she realized the extremity of the situation. She walked quietly towards the door, opening it slowly before she turned. "I think it would be safer if you get out of here. But... if you find out anything else, please find me." She gave him a thankful smile, waiting until he was out the door before she closed it, making sure it was locked. The girl moved slowly to the couch, pulling the throw blanket off the back of it. Wrapping it around her shoulders, she slumped down onto the floor, missing the couch entirely as she curled into herself, letting another fresh wave of sobs rack her body.
