Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

For a few minutes, Sterling was able to keep up with the four legged feline though it was entirely fleeting before the cat disappeared in the undergrowth, leaving Sterling chasing but a ghost. For hours the man had searched diligently for any sign of the creature that had been birthed from the roommate he had so cherished but, several hours later, Sterling had to admit defeat. It was clear to him that Henry didn't want to be found. He so yearned to assist his companion, to ensure the man didn't go through these frightening few moments alone and yet, for all that he desired to be there for Henry, he knew he could hardly force his presence on the man. It was still dark by the time Sterling returned to their flat though he hardly even slept for the rest of the night. Instead he merely paced in front of those windows that lined their living room. He left the porch door open with the hopes that, perhaps, he might hear when Henry decided to return, if he did. There was something altogether painful about the sheer idea that Henry might choose to remain out there, enough so that Sterling refused to even recognize that it was a possibility. No. He would return home, Sterling was sure of it.

He was settled on a lawn chair on the porch with a coffee cup within his hands, silently watching the sunrise paint the sky with colors when he heard a sound beneath him. The warlock jumped to his feed with the same hurry the way he had multiple times that evening, hoping that perhaps this time it was Henry. Thankfully, he was not disappointed. He leaned over the railing at the sight of the ebony jaguar making his way back down the street. "Henry." The words were but a whisper on his lips as Sterling pivoted, pulling a blanket from the couch before rushing down the staircase entirely uncaring that hours earlier, that same cat had tried to eat him. By the time he had made his way to the foot of the staircase, Sterling found Henry crumbled in a ball, the man seeming hardly conscious. Sterling rushed to unfold the blanket, draping it immediately over the man's naked form before his fingers moved towards Henry's cheek. "Henry? Henry are you okay? You scared me half to death. I was so worried about you." He uttered softly, trying to pull the man at least into somewhat of a sitting position. He could tell the man seemed exhausted and, if necessary, Sterling had every intent to carry the man back to the comfort of their dingy little apartment.
