Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

There is no small measure of amusement to so be taken from the idea that Sebastian perceived him as so wholly relentless when it came to stoking that fire of want within the vampire himself. Dorian amused perhaps, if only by the notion that he is not nearly so relentless as he might be capable of being should the mood so strike him to be as such. It is merely at least some lingering shred of decency that sees him withhold himself from attempting to see just how far the vampire might be pressed before he could take it no longer. After all, Dorian himself so strove to discover just what this Aquarium was- something so unlikely to occur if he distracted his lover to far from his own plans. Allowing his lips to brush along the man's neck however, is surely within that range of both teasing and yet tolerable, Dorian content to meet his own needs for that taste of the man's cool skin. The softest of chuckles is pulled from his lips at Sebastian's admittance. Ah, but how pleasing it was to hear he was so wanted! The sound of his name draws his attention upward. The silver of his gaze so readily meeting the pale blue of his lovers own, Dorian shifting slightly in anticipation of the kiss it so seemed Sebastian intended to bestow upon him- before the vampire so abruptly halted in his endeavours. The puzzlement that afflicts the Fae lasts but momentarily before Sebastian speaks once more. The words he is so afforded seeing his features soften notably as a truly genuine smile teases at his lips- Dorian believing so entirely in the words he was given. That he might, somehow, not be forgotten amongst the veritable sea of faces Sebastian had surely taken was meaningful to him in far more ways then. How truly easy it was- to love this man.

"Thank you."

It is little more than his own whisper, that reassurance seeking to soothe whatever insecurity had perhaps still lingered before the vampires lips find his own in a kiss that held little raw desire and far more gentle intimacy within it. A kiss Dorian so easily returned with just as much affection. The utter mystery that so is their destination however, continues to tease at the mind of the Fae. He was, so notably, a highly curious being at the best of times- surprises, in any fashion, both a delight to that side of himself that so seemed to relish in spontaneity while that far more curious half found the notion of the unknown very near torturous in the way it so seemed to encompass his thoughts. The interior of the building provides no more clue then the exterior. His own silver gaze so lacked his vampire lovers ability to adjust so readily to the dim lighting within and as such Dorian is afforded very little hint as to what such a place might so entail. Sebastian however, seemed to desire he close his eyes entirely. It had been centuries since anyone had requested such a thing of him and even then it had been his own siblings in a desire to play a game of hide. The astonishment at such a request no doubt clear before he moves to do as instructed, his voice entirely dubious as to why such a thing was required at all and yet he had, some weeks ago, so began to trust Sebastian. After all, allowing the man to feed from his very body required a rather distinct trust that he would bring him no true harm. The mere closing of his eyes, in that respect, is comparatively simple.

He allows himself to be led further into this eternally mysterious place, asking but once if he might yet open his eyes- only to be told he need wait a little longer. That curiosity that so marked his temperament was rising readily once more- though his gaze remained so obediently closed. He is guided to a stop only moments later, Sebastian's hand detangling from his own before trailing across his form to settle at last upon his hip, affording the Fae some knowledge of where his companion stood behind him. The soft whisper of assurance that he could, indeed, open his eyes at last sees the Fae momentarily blinking into the dim space. His eyes struggle for several precious seconds in an effort to adjust to the change in light before fixating upon the entirely enormous tank before him that so dominated the room and dwarfed the pair in its vastness.

"Gracious!"

The sheer shock of such a thing sees the King step abruptly back and into Sebastian's chest- though for perhaps the first time the Fae held truly little attention upon his lover, the silver of his gaze drawn wide in utter disbelief at what so appeared before him. It is several long moments before the King can so attempt any effort at composure, his eyes struggling to make sense of what exists before him. He knew, innately, that such creatures could not escape the glass home in which they were contained and too- that the water would surely not somehow begin to escape and threaten to drown them and yet the how of the entire thing so escaped him.

"I have never seen creatures like this."

It is little more than a whisper upon his lips. Dorian at last seeming to find the boldness to step away from Sebastian and closer to the tank, fingers extending to ever so softly grace the cool of the glass surface as if to assure himself of it. Such a thing as this is simply beyond his understanding, beyond anything he has ever seen before, Dorian entirely unable to decide as to whether curiosity or wonder is the most potent of his emotions in this moment and yet he hardly cares to analyse such a thing. The sudden and abrupt appearance of a stingray sees the man gasp ever so slightly, stepping back again from the glass in a reaction so purely instinctive as his gaze follows the beast before returning to the scene before him.

"Are we....under the ocean?"

It is, perhaps, the best explanation his mind can produce, gaze refusing to turn away from the tank all the same as his attention follows one school of fish after another, absorbed within the colours they afford him. How they had gotten beneath the ocean remains a veritable mystery and yet here and now Dorian's mind is surely stretched to the very limits of what he believes to be possible. It takes but a moment longer for his attention to deviate downward and to the vast array if informational plaques that so seem to decorate the outside of the tank- dictating the creatures within. That he might learn about them only sees the grin that has adorned his features for some moments now widen.

"Bastien!"

He calls suddenly for the vampire, seeking to draw him away from whatever may have too captured his attention, gesturing towards the bottom of the tank before him and at a truly large eel beginning to swim from the rocks. That Sebastian has surely seen such a creature before hardly seems to occur to Dorian, the man so wholly fascinated by this snake that seems to breath underwater that he is assured it too- merits the vampires attention. It is only at the disappearance of the creature once more that Dorian's attention, for the first time, seems to fall upon his lover in its entirety. His arms wrap almost effortlessly about the other man's waist, drawing him inward and against him before finding the vampires lips with his own once more.

"This Aquarium- we love."
