South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

The Were girl had grown up nearly exclusively with the foxes that existed within her home pack. They were all fennecs, like herself, and to her, it was all too common to know them and understand them. Of course, given the size of her Were form, it was uncommon for Edie to spend too much time within it as a child. Most of the time she spent playing with the other children in her pack had been in her human form. She'd been forced into her fox form by the pull of the moon, of course, but she had been lectured over and over again to stay safe. To stay in the form that was safest. Of course, now that she had travelled to Sacrosanct, she couldn't help but test those boundaries. She still kept it from Frost. Her time in Africa had eluded another month that she would have to tell him about her form. She was determined to make sure he thought she was valuable before she revealed that she was a mere foot tall in her Were form. The giant horse would likely crush her.

The fox that sat in front of her was certainly interesting. She'd known of Claire, of course. Her pack mate's form entirely known to her. She was sure that Claire suspected hers, as well, as Frost assumed she was a fox. But ah, what kind? The fennec kind, of course. The woman in front of her was entirely not Claire, but someone else. Someone new. She didn't smell like the Ark. She wasn't Nightshade, and she certainly wasn't Chimera. So what was she? That alone had Edie's ears flattening against her head, the apprehension towards this new person one that was mixed with genuine curiosity. Curiosity and, well, the reassurance that if she turned out to trouble, at least a fox was easier to fight than say, a panther.

Alexis. Ah. The name wasn't one she'd heard before. The girl seemed genuinely friendly, but still Edie didn't let her guard down. She knew better than to trust just anyone. After all, hadn't Frost told her that half of the Western district would likely kill her on sight? But this fox seemed harmless enough, and with that alone the fox tilted her head to the side. "Edie. And no, I'm not alone. I have a pack that..." The words were cut off abruptly by the questioning tone of her Alpha, a small growl coming from the fox nearly unintentionally. Edie couldn't help but adore her Alpha. Though she gave him a hard time almost every time she saw him, the fox couldn't help the respect that came from her.

"Frost is my Alpha," Edie's form sat down in front of the fox, though she didn't take her eyes off Alexis once. The way she seemed so confused about Frost was enough to make Edie curious, yet she wasn't stupid enough to not guard herself. "You seem less than thrilled about that. Care to elaborate?" The fox's tone was entirely amused. The Beta stood once more, moving to circle the other fox as though she would look for any weaknesses in the other woman. "You seem like you know him. Personally. And that doesn't seem like something that makes you happy. You're conflicted..." Sure, Edie was choosing to push at the woman. Entirely willing to see if Alexis would push her back, or if she would merely run. Truly, Edie was hoping for the first. She could use a fox friend, after all. But of course, the other woman had to have some spine, didn't she?
