South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Dorian AragonaHis Royal Highness

It is Nikoli that becomes aware of the presence of the wolf well before Dorian himself, the Fae King distracted with his own thoughts, those long fingers continuing to stroke the ebony animal almost absentmindedly until its ears pricked forward, a soft snort erupting from within it before the stallion angled its head toward the path they had travelled down but moments ago. Dorian is momentarily jostled from his own thoughts, the silver hue of his gaze fixated upon those shadows and trees, following the dark gaze of his steed before those bushes seem to part at last, admitting a wolf of a significantly larger size then Dorian had anticipated in any sense. For several moments the Fae remains almost frozen. This, surely, could not have been the small, meek woman from the park!? The creature was far larger then any mere dog, its pelted patterned so finally that Dorian is have given to consider it would make a splendid rug, perhaps even a blanket to so adorn his bed or a saddle cloth for Nikoli. That sudden press of a voice into his mind however seems to jolt him from those very thoughts, his silvered gaze widening in surprise and no small measure of shock. Ah, how magnificent, it could speak! What a splendid animal! He moves easily to drop the reins to his horse- the man having spent several days teaching the animal to tie in this fashion, the horse remaining distinctly still as commanded despite eyeing the wold with some measure of wariness- Dorian himself striding towards her now, crouching down before her so he might meet her gaze evenly. The man eternally bold in every sense.

"My, but you are a fine thing, Raven. To think, you hid your face from me that day in the park as if you were shy, but why should you be shy when this is who you are? This is a very fine thing to be. There are not many creatures so noble as wolves."

He smiles easily, lightly, one hand extended slightly before the man so hesitates. Would petting the creature be disrespectful? Perhaps if he were to pet it upon the head in a gesture of dominance it might be as such, the man turning his hand instead, fingers stroking against the side of her neck and shoulder in a position far more equal. Just the same as if he had placed a hand upon her arm in a chaste gesture of companionship were she in human form. He affords her every chance to pull away and so inform him of his mistake before he stands once more, gesturing now to his sleek black palfrey whom stood waiting still.

"This is Nikoli. I cannot hope to keep up with you when you run so he shall help me today. He was a gift from my- boyfriend."

There is but a moment of hesitation upon the offering of such a word, Dorian hardly ashamed in any sense, more so he is simply becoming used to the term, to the word itself and indeed to how it was such a thing might be....viewed in this day and age. The Monarch so watching the wolfs features careful for any disdain such an admittance might bring her. After all- such a thing as a male companion, for a man, had once been so desperately frowned upon. Samantha assuring him now, that most people were far more accepting and yet still Dorian finds himself wholly curious before he returns to Nikoli now. It is easy to take up the reins once more, pulling then over the ebony stallions head before swinging up and onto its back moment later- his toned, youthful form performing such a gesture with ease as he regarded Raven once more.

"I do not know if you have hunted in this fashion before but I shall explain all the same. We are required to work together, it is a dance of partnership, not of servitude. Your task will be to find the trail of prey, a rabbit would be ideal, even a doe perhaps if you could find it. I will follow and whatever pace you choose to set. Once you have found our prey, you need only give chase- direct it towards myself and I shall shoot it. If it should not die instantly we will gave chase together. Should we begin?"
