South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

you could rattle the stars.
you could do anything,
if only you dared

The comment that drifted out over the now frozen lake has Vhal crossing her arms over her chest, a smile threatening to break across her lips. Fighting it, just barely, she pops her own hip out in a relax stance her arms casually crossed across her body. Tilting her head at the two women, Vhalla is very much intrigued by the way the fellow witch created skates out of her shoes so easily. A surge of jealousy rises in the pit of her stomach but she squashes it down, she would have control of her magic, eventually. "What are you? Five?" she snorts out, that smile finally breaking through her features, her eyes twinkling in amusement.

The assassin hadn't planned on anything but her magic, but as it was interrupted by the two women, she simply just glances in their direction giving a small shrug. When Raven speaks, she can just barely hear her but Vhalla gives a nod in agreement, "I can't imagine keeping that lake frozen is easy," she drawls. Honestly, the assassin thought it would take an immense amount of energy to keep it frozen but the fellow witch hardly seemed to be breaking a sweat. On top of that, the woman created the blades attached to her feet with such ease that Vhal's brows furrow slightly, despising how easy it was for every other witch and warlock she met to control their powers.

Pushing the jealousy down once again, her blue eyes flick towards Raven, her head tilting slightly, "It's Raven, right? I remember you from The Ark," gesturing to the scarred woman. Returning her icy gaze back to the stranger, she regards her for a moment as she invites Vhalla onto the ice. Cringing, she takes a small step backwards, "I think I'll pass, I don't think even your magic could keep me on top of that ice, I run a little hot," she states a little dryly. As much as she would like to join the two women, Vhalla didn't trust herself to remain calm.

"When you fall in though, don't expect me to come get you," Vhalla shrugs, a small simper tugging on her features. "I will watch you though, it looks interesting. What exactly are you doing?" Vhalla asks, her head tilting again as she regards the blades attached to the woman's shoes. Believe it or not, the assassin had never seen ice skating before, being raised in a rather confined... household, she didn't experience many things. Inspecting the shoes a moment more, she lets her gaze travel back to Raven, who looked nearly as uncomfortable as Vhalla would feel on the ice, "You can come join me and watch your friend make a fool of herself if you'd like," Vhalla addresses Raven with a small nod, entirely genuine in her offer.

The assassin had not been nearly as welcoming the first time she had met the woman, perhaps she could make amends now. She knew well that she didn't have many friends in this city, perhaps it was time she attempted to start making them.
