South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

He had never quite heard of this 'Chanel No 5' a part of the Fae curious as to where the other numbers had gone and yet he could hardly deny the pleasantness of the scent. It did not, perhaps, appeal to him in the same way as Sebastian's cologne so often did and yet this scent seemed to flatter the woman quite well. It was a good choice, Dorian finding himself curious once more of this mate she possessed and he was still yet to meet and yet as was the mans nature he hardly pressed her to much upon the topic. Dorian quite content to merely admire those Christmas gifts she had received as any friend surely should. He was quite pleased, truly, to have managed to make at least one friend all on his own within this city. It was distinctly new for him to be within the company of one whom continued to spend time with him simply because she desired too and not because she was required too as was so often the case with royalty. He appreciated her company for that very reason and so many more. The King eased slightly back within his chair once more, one eye lifting slightly at her sudden mention of his ring, exclaiming that she wished she would have known he had been married- Dorian chuckling softly now before his head simply shook.

"Ah, fear not. We did not get married, though we have spoken off it. It is merely so that this finger is where this sort of ring is worn. It was a gift, not a proposal, though I adore it just as much."

He assured her softly, that gentle grin alighting his features, his fingers tracing the smooth surface of that ring in contemplation of all Sebastian and himself had discussed in those days spent within his palace. Dorian wholly content in the knowledge that, one day, he would surely marry the vampire all the same. The thought of it hardly displeasing to him in any sense and yet, for now, he truly enjoyed that feel of it resting upon his hand and the steady thrum of Sebastian's heart that stirred each night. How comforting it was! Though he uttered no comment on the secrets of that ring for now, merely allowing the young woman to inspect it upon his hand before she spoke of those matters of Were's. They were a truly curious species in so many ways. Much of their behaviour seeming akin to true animals. This idea of territory and pack and Alpha were obscure to him and yet he supposed it was not to terribly different to his own country and its borders with those people whom defended it. The world of the Were merely called those things by different names and indeed, seemed to function on a smaller, local scale as opposed to worldwide. The thought of losing ones very home however was no less surprising. Dorian looking contemplative once more.

"I understand, I think. It is merely different to anything I know. I hope though, in time, you might be able to take a holiday."

That gentle smile touched his lips once more. Dorian finding that he truly did hope for such a thing as that. After all, everyone needed time away some times, did they not? The Fae King perhaps understanding such a thing better than most after near five centuries within the same building and the same place. The world itself only just now open to him and how he relished it! Raven to, surely, should be allowed to see it and experience it. It was that attempt to bring that smile to her features again that saw the Monarch reach inside his jacket for that neatly wrapped gift. The man handing her that little gold package a moment, sitting back to allow her to unwrap it as he finished his coffee. He had come across the book in those days Sebastian had insisted they go through the library below his castle, the vampire bemoaning every dusty book or torn page, convinced they need save them all. The memory so stirring a simper to his lips even now to consider it. Yet, it was Raven he had thought of the day his hands had found those classic childhood tales. He had adored them once and yet he had long since memorized those stories to the point he held little need for them anymore. He knew well the life he had chosen for himself. He knew of each and every thing his future with Sebastian might surely hold and yet too, he knew those things he gave away with his choice in lover. There would be no children. Such a thing impossible for them in more ways then one and yet, in truth, Dorian hardly found he was discontent in that idea. They were immortal after all, there was no need for heirs has there had once been and as such there were surely others whom might gain delight from that book on his behalf. The delight upon her features and within her words was truly glorious.

"Oh there is no need for you to gift me anything in return. Please, do not let it bother you. That you enjoy it is gift enough."

There was little in this world he did not have or could not get should he desire it, Dorian wholly content to merely bring delight to others in those moments when he could, the Fae watching her examine that ancient book before softly inquiring as to her mate. This mysterious man he had never met and yet whom she spoke about with such animation that his curiosity was only further piqued. His hand waved easily, ordering another coffee for himself as the woman begun. Ah how she seemed to alive in that moment! Raven talking with a passion and joy he had not truly seen on the woman yet. Her adoration for this single man she loved so evident in each word. Dorian unable to prevent the smile that danced upon his lips.

"Ah, but I know what it is to have another whom is....everything and whom you feel wholly possessive off in turn."
It was rare, truly, for Dorian to speak so openly of his own emotion for his boyfriend outside of to Sebastian himself and yet upon this quite morning such words found his lips all the same. The Fae so admitting that he truly did understand the manner in which another so simply could exist as everything. Foolish as it surely was. It was her curious mention of the word 'they' however that saw the man pause, his features frowning slightly. Had Raven taken two lovers?! He had hardly expected it of her, a woman whom seemed so wholly decent! Dorian eyeing her almost suspiciously now as the woman continued with a voice much softer and yet no less delightful. Dorian inclined to lean forward as if she shared some great secret with him now. This idea of...two sides was curious to him. Surely everyone had two sides and yet she spoke of them as if they were near different people. As if two existed within the one body. Was her mate....ill? The man barely given to consider this thought before she carried on, the woman hardly seeming to speak as if he was, more so that this was simply a trait unique to the man, one she valued while others perhaps- might well fear it. Dorian nodding softly as she finished, the man curious still as to just who this Tobias was as his thoughts turned within his mind.

"Is he your soul-mate then?"

The Fae asked softly but a moment later, curious perhaps, to wonder if others so considered the notion of soul mates as he did with Sebastian, his gaze lingering upon the woman still, affording her those moments to consider her words.

"If you should like Raven, that is, if you and your mate should care too- I own all of Italy, many of its surrounding islands and too much in Spain. If it is so you and he should find the time to be away from your pack you would be welcome to holiday in any of my homes. Many are merely sitting there without use and the beaches of Corsica or Sardinia are glorious things in the summer."
