South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The Sun Also Rises

There was something decidedly pleasant about the sight of Troy within that bar. A familiar face seeming to delight the Monarch as he took up that seat beside the other man, one hand lightly waving away the bartender all the same. Dorian, after all, so rarely understood just what to order within those places and indeed he had only just begun to learn how the monetary system of the city worked without Sebastian beside him to assure to those payments of things. The Italian man decidedly pleased with his ability to use a credit card of late and yet at the risk of so messing that up in the presence of the other man he so decided against attempting to actually order anything. Dorian instead making himself comfortable within that chair, inquiring after whether or not the other Fae had been afforded that knowledge of Samantha's sudden departure, his features frowning slightly at Troy's response. Had Samantha truly not even bothered to tell the man? Such behaviour so unlike the woman he had known that he hardly wished to think it off her and yet- she had changed so much within those weeks after the death off her lover. Dorian perhaps inclined to that understanding. After all, were something to happen to Sebastian the Fae was assured he should have no desire to live at all! His head shaking softly all the same as he regarded the other man.

"Much changed with her, after her boyfriend died. We were roommates and even I was afforded near no goodbye. She left with barely a word. I suppose it hardly matters now. I am sorry that you were given no word though. Had I known I would have contacted you sooner."

It was, perhaps, preferable to both men to move beyond that subject. Both so evidently left with some measure of sadness in the wake of the woman's departure. Neither wishing to dwell upon it. Dorian so instead asking after the man's own activities those past few months. Dorian himself so having spent the better part of the new year overseas and as such had so failed to hear anything of the only other Fae within that city he knew readily off. His attention fixating upon Troy now with a clear intrigue and a most genuine interest. The other man appearing rather delighted about...something. This sudden assurance that he had indeed been busy so followed by the announcement that he was to be a Father saw Dorians own gaze widen dramatically. Dorian appearing momentarily dumbfounded before that social etiquette seemed to seize him with vigour.

"Heavens! When did this happen? I did not know you were married! Who is she, this Mother of your child? This is glorious news, congratulations!"

Children, after all, were a decidedly celebrated thing within his own age. Dorian unaware perhaps that in modern times they were perhaps a more common occurrence then they had been in his own age and yet still there was much to be celebrated, he was sure. After all, children were surely critical to almost every family, a representation of the success of any traditional couple, any man surely desired an heir of some kind. The Fae's values in this perhaps strikingly traditional and yet it hardly lessened his delight all the same. Fae, as a species, so often seemed to struggle to conceive a child whether the Mother was Fae or any other species and too, the very chance the child might be born mortal was yet another dilemma to be faced. Dorian so finding his mind awash with questions in that moment and yet, above it all, that Troy had managed to father a child was surely that most delightful of news. A grin dancing readily on his own features. He himself would surely never father a child, he had chosen his life with Sebastian and indeed such a thing so meant there would never be a child from their union and yet such a thing hardly bothered the Monarch in any sense. Indeed, he was wholly content to relish in that news of another.

"When is this child due? Is it to be your first?"
