South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

The gold of his gaze lingered briefly on that stumbling puppy. That combination of motion and speed so apparently having afflicted her with just that nausea that seemed to afflict most whom attempted to sustain that speeding pace right along with him. Their bodies simply not built to move at such a speed like his own. Azrael content to allow her several moments to attempt to gather herself before requesting she make herself at least mildly more intimidating. After all, no one was going to run from a stumbling ball of fluff. Raven took several moments to fulfil that request, shifting back into her larger wolfish form before proceeding to bare her teeth at him or grin or...something. Azrael merely allowing one eye to lift in a decidedly non-impressed fashion and yet really so little impressed the man at all it was probably hardly surprising. At least she was a decent size now. Large enough to be intimidating and hopefully skilled enough with those fangs to actually be useful. His request to have her assist in opening those rather sizeable doors however was met with a shake of her wolfish head, his own hand extending to grasp those chains and lock, letting them fall from his hand in the wake of that almost blinding, heated light that afflicted them. His gaze lifting to the animal again, the man entirely unsure as to whether the door was too heavy for her ability or else she was merely worried it would make too much noise. Azrael assured her power was entirely substantial enough to carry out that request. Maybe she was just being deliberately unhelpful. His eyes narrowing slightly at the thought as he afforded her an almost dubious look- assured he had seen her lift far heavier things then a door. Charging in hardly seeming quieter than those hinges. In fact, he was rather sure it would only result in him throwing himself at the door several times instead. Not like it was a bother or anything. A sigh falling from his lips at last. The man so attempting to be...civil to that pet his girlfriend seemed to adore.

"Very well then."

He moved to step back a few paces, attempting to decide whether hitting that door with his shoulder or attempting to kick it in were the better choices, that blackness rapidly beginning to surround them then, his lips pulling into a thin, tight line at the touch of that magic he so often disliked and yet for now merely allowed to exist. It would, if anything, provide them with some cover in the least- the man stepping forward a moment later to lift his foot- slamming it with a striking force against that door along with those shadows to see it swing open. Well. If anyone was here they certainly knew they were coming now. This part of the warehouse at least decidedly...dark and empty and...cold. Far colder than it should have been. His gaze narrowed readily, aware of someone as Raven's power lashed out, toppling those guards at the door, the sound of pounding feet echoing and yet for a moment the Hunter did nothing. One hand simply lifted, gesturing for Raven to wait as his own senses extended, searching for anything supernatural in that darkness. There was nothing else in this room and yet he could sense something a little further on. The man gesturing to move forward then and towards that door at the back that clearly lead into the larger, main area of the warehouse.

A simple flick of his wrist saw a ball of light glow readily to life within his hand, the door thrown open only to see a rather hefty fellow charge towards them, Azrael simply tossing that ball towards him as if he tossed a child's toy, that light colliding with the man before exploding, sending the fellow flying backwards and into the wall. The man hardly dead and yet entirely unconscious. The Hunter content to leave him as he led the way into that main warehouse area- this a veritable minefield of ice. Well. It would appear he had found his girlfriend. Something almost akin to pride settling briefly within him at that moment. The Hunter entirely pleased to note Sera had at least been difficult throughout this abduction, two men attempting to break through a part of that icy shield several feet away. Azrael merely gesturing lightly to Raven.

"Take care of them or in the least distract them."

How the wolf went about that he hardly minded. He had, perhaps, made some sort of an oath not to harm human beings and yet these were hardly innocent human beings- not by his standards. Anyone and everyone responsible for bringing any sense of distress or actual harm to that woman he thought off as his own was, as far as he was concerned, protected from him by nothing and no one. He had little doubt that Sera herself lay at the veritable centre of the icy obstacle course, his golden gaze rapidly searching for a faster way through then attempting to traverse it. A small, clear patch of ground several feet away. The Hunter finding himself rapidly more desperate to reach that woman now that he could sense her so close. Those protective instincts clawing at him as that speed was readily engaged, Azrael launching himself at the wall of the warehouse, that gravity affinity afford to that blend of his own abilities to right himself as he used that wall as a veritable kick-bounce, twisting mid-air to launch himself over that ice and land on that clear space between. Great. One obstacle down, five hundred left.

"Sera!"

That desire to hear her voice, to assure himself she was still very much alive seemed to prompt his shout then, the Hunter barely having that chance to listen for a response before the sound of cracking ice drew his attention. A man heading towards him across that ice, his gaze searching briefly for Raven to assure himself the wolf was still very much alright before turning his gaze back towards the centre of that shield. If he could only get to her. His would-be opponent had finally made his way across that slippery surface to reach him, a fist aimed directly at his face as Azrael simply ducked beneath it, the man stepping back to reposition himself for that counter-strike only to have that foot land atop the ice and skid out from beneath him. The Hunter crashing down in a true moment of utterly inglorious swearing. Right. He'd had just about enough of this. His foot swung easily from his own fallen position, knocking his legs out from underneath his attacker, Azrael swiftly back upon his feet, his gravity seizing that man now- launching him upward before whistling sharply for Raven. Azrael gesturing briefly to the man above him for the wolf to grasp with her telekinesis and do with whatever she pleased as that light sword formed within his own hands. Azrael entirely done with this charade. That sword swung at the nearest stalactite, shattering through it with ease. The Hunter pausing briefly to grasp a chunk of that ice, tossing it upward- only to reform that sword briefly into a baseball bat, colliding with that chunk of ice and sending it solidly into one of Ravens attackers. A smirk briefly touching his lips, that sword lancing through the next icy obstacle. Hmm, maybe this was fun. Another man seeming to think better of attempting to approach the Hunter, instead choosing to duck down behind a crate, Azrael's eyes rolling slightly as he continued to make his way through that icy field and towards his girlfriend.
