South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;

Illy didn't care that she sat on the bare grass cross-legged with a packed lunch in a canvas bag. Today was a beautiful day, the sun was out and golden as ever as it generously kissed her face. The birds were singing a beautiful song and chattered feverishly about their latest gossip. Birds were rather gossipy creatures, but not as much a squirrels she found them to be nasty little creatures at times, like teasing high schoolers. She found a certain kind of contentment within this cacophony of sounds and chatter in which so many tended to ignore.

She unpacks her lunch one item at a time, lost in the sea of prattle provided from the forest, her entertainment while she ate. It appeared dark and full on dangers but the fairy girl wasn't afraid of the big bad wolf, after all, he probably had a story to tell. So very often the woman would get lost deep within what she thought was a riveting conversation from even the smallest of creatures.

The blonde woman packed far more food she needed, just in case she made any friends along the way. In which she hoped and counted on. Yes, perhaps she often looked like a crazy person to passersby whenever she found herself within a full on heated conversation or even argue with a rat or trying to get a pigeon share a secret spot they had found. She was positive there were small little slices of heaven that could be found anywhere, people just had no idea where to look, sometimes it was right underneath their noses.

The park near the outskirts of the woodlands was her favourite place to wander. Sometimes she could find the most peculiar rocks if she looked carefully enough. She collected trinkets including stones of all sizes, probably in which most would consider in unconventionally excess. She was very particular with her selections though! Often times those objects were borrowed things that had once belonged to another soul. There were some things that were simply meant to be shared.

But she was very much like the trinkets and stones she collected. What she treasured were often unique and out of place items of odd colouring, patterns, and shapes, convinced they were etched by a goddess herself. But the fairy woman never quite noticed this about herself being off, but simply though those around her were simply on her plane of existence. She often thought humans to be closed minded creatures. It was truly saddening how they were unable to simply find a way to get swept away by the stories carried on a gentle wind and the soft voices and vibrant colours that peppered her mind.

Suddenly there was a rustle within the bushes, just as she was about to take a bite of her sandwich. At first, she thinks it is a figment of her mind, but then in a fashion that was all too considered normal to her, that bush shook once more. This time her silvery eyes could not help but peer out toward the noise. She stood up almost enough to be considered abrupt, awkward and yet somewhat graceful at the same time. The fairy turned her back to her delicious delightful snacks, in a manner considered far too trusting. It would make it far too simple for another to claim her small feast. Her fickle curiosity caught the best of her. She even left one of her favourite polished amethyst crystal behind. It had a peculiar shape that could almost resemble a confused and jagged star.

She pats down her billowy pale summer dress, flicking off the stray pieces of grass that stuck onto the lacy fabric. "Hello?" Her voice is soft and yet song-like as the gentle lilt carried out toward the peculiar bush that had seemed to become even more animated than before. Perhaps it would sprout limbs and eyes in a given moment. It would be the most interesting thing she would have seen all day, how could she resist but find out what was so special about this bush?

"Don't be afraid little shrub, my name is Illy." She calls out toward the bush, curious and hopeful as she crouched down a little to obtain a closer glimpse.
