South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It would seem, that tonight, she would once again not have peace and quiet. For a girl that was so used to being alone, it would seem that she was never given the ability to truly be alone. Although that was a good thing, that didn't mean it came without consequences. She had assumed, incorrectly, that it was safe to run among the safety of the haunted woods. However, on sharp, and well hidden, steal trap had caused the girl to see the error in her judgment. Tie that in with the fact she had to outwit the Dark Hunter that attempted to kill her and some Witch that had accidently stumbled on them. It wasn't her place to try and save another, but for some reason she felt obligated to do such a thing. It wasn't her fault the Hunter wanted to mate with his prey, and really, none of that shouldn't be going on. It was unnatural, and it was natural for the creature to get rid of whatever was wrong in nature. Even though she allowed the Witch to use what she knew to heal her wounds, it wasn't enough to cause her to stay. She needed to be out and not trapped within a...problematic environment. Yet it would seem that wherever she went, she was nothing more than a problem to herself.

As she washed herself quietly, humming softly, the cool waters brought a stinging twinge in the re-opened wound. Continuing the gentle humming, her eyes would close half-way, trying to block out the stinging sensation. She did not hear the silent heavy paws of the spotted creature heading towards her. It was at the last second, when her eyes reopened when she saw a figure in the corner of her eye. A sharp intake of breath filled her lungs, as her entire body went into a paralyzed shock. As his heavy paw smacked her into her chest, her scarred frame falling to the ground. Terrified her form instantly rolled to her back, exposing herself in a submissive stance, a natural thing to do. In her pack, it was the only clear sign she could give when she was in her other form, allowing her feral mind to take control...by showing them this position they knew she wouldn't cause any problems. Adrenaline was pumping, causing her heart to increase its tempo. As his head tilts side to side, blue-grey eyes caught his golden hues as her pink lips pulled back to reveal her teeth. Although he had pinned her in such a vulnerable position, she was not pleased not willing to stay like this any longer. Struggling, she squirmed underneath him, her effort in vain, for his weight was far too heavy, even for a leopard that had his bones sticking out from his soft golden spotted fur. She did not appreciate his paw feeling her up, and the realization that he could see the scars that completed traveled up and down her form, was enough for another wave a panic to kick in. Seeing his jaws part, showing his long hooked fangs, she attempted to make herself change, but for some reason whether it was fear or tiredness, she could not. As his muzzle brushed against her scarred flesh, she would flinch at his test, and squirm once more when his teeth seemed to grab the loop of her jeans. As she struggled to let go, her back receiving small scratches from the ground below, she could feel his shoulder and neck move together to shake her small frame. Clenching her first she would take a swing at his face, allowing her first to make contact with his muzzle, as her voice held a low growl to it, yelling at him.

"Please, let me go.....STOP IT"

The punch to his muzzle would have been done after she shouted her demand. Yet he did not do such a thing. As soon as he unhooked his teeth from her jeans loop, she attempted to rise up, but his paw slammed into her chest once more. As soon as his claws popped out, her entire form went still. Terrified blue-grey eyes watched as his muzzle would slowly brush against her pale flesh, goose bumps following in his touches' wake. As his jaws part once more, she felt her heart start to skip a beat, as she held the sudden realization that this was it...she was going to be killed...eaten alive as it seemed. Yet once more she was wrong in her judgments. As his tongue reaches her wounded side, she instantly felt his rough sandpaper like tongue, tear into her skin slowly seeping up the blood and dirt. Her scarred skin would move back and forth, with each of his movement from his tongue, her formed remained stiff, her heart racing as she just stared in shock and silence. Not once did anyone ever do such a thing to her. It was common when she was injured from those in her pack that no one would give her aide. She would have to lick her own wounds, and those she could not reach would have to be dealt with by a cool swim in the water. No one had ever shown her some sort of kindness like this. She wasn't quite sure with what to do or say, in this situation, and so she just lied on the ground very still, forced to endure this odd session. As soon as his rough pink tongue was done licking her side, her wound was clean no blood in sight. As he lifted his heavy paw of her, she would roll to her side her, that familiar sound of bones cracking and shifting could be heard as she turned back into her wolf form. Safe. She was safe here.

"Why did you do that?!"

She inquired, as she picked herself up, standing on her grey paws. Grey trimmed ears were pointed towards him as her ebony skull tilted to the side. Her thick ebony fur that held unique grey markings began to stand up, a low growl rumbling in her chest. It was weird being touched in such a way and it was something she was feeling conflicted by. It was good, at least, it felt good, but it was done when she was in a vulnerable state. She would move cautiously towards him, her head stuck out picking up any sign that she should turn around and run. Her left paw would land on the ground, carefully, pain shot up through her shoulder as she continued inching towards him, in a mixture of a threatened and confused state. The closer she got, the more she felt her mind begin to struggle. The first time she met him, she was trying to be submissive, to an extent, but now with him pinning her to the ground, with her stomach up, she wasn't quite understanding why she couldn't raise her tail high. He had, perhaps on accident, caused the girl to lie in a submissive state which only confused her as to what she was supposed to do...because she did not want to be in such a helpless position in the first place. She would sit herself down, her head lowering in an apologetic state, her grey tail covering up her back paw. Her tone was firm, but soft as she struggled to explain her reasoning and understanding of what just occurred.

"I'm sorry for punching you...But you are not friend, pack, or mate...you don't get to touch me."

Her ebony head would turn to her wounded shoulder and cut up side, taking note that it remained clean and the bleeding had stopped. Turning her head back to face him she found herself caught. If he was a friend, pack member, or mate this gesture would be expected, accepted, and she would have no need to return the favor out of debt- only out of necessity. The leopard was none of these things, just a Were that she had been constantly running into. Her head would lower, slightly, giving a sign of a submissive state, as she watched the creature annoyingly stretch himself out. Soft words barely stumbled out as she felt an unfamiliar wave overcome her, one thread that attached her to him, along with the first thread that tied her to him from the first time they hunted.

"Thank you...I owe Tobi..."

It would seem those invisible threads that attached her to him only seemed to get tighter, if only slightly. Those instincts of solidary was flooding back inside her feral mind, as a small voice that said otherwise was slowly becoming silent.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
