South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
Despite the number of years that laid stretched out before them, Serafina had to admit that there was something entirely natural about the way her physique felt nestled against the much older one of her companion. During the youth the two had nearly been inseparable and now, it felt peculiarly as if Serafina had found her place once again - regardless of the otherworldly instincts that screamed she was far too close to something that should surely bring about her death. As of late, Serafina had gotten particularly successful at ignoring such impulses. Her body slid against that of her companion's, her hips moving in rhythm of the music that reverberated around them. Her hands were up in the air, occasionally reaching to touch the neck of her Dark Hunter friend, encouraging the girl to join her in such salacious movements. She felt the weight of her companion's fingertips upon her hips, just as she too felt her breath on her skin as Tamzin nestled her face into the crook of Serafina's neck. It hardly perturbed her, this closeness after all these years and instead Serafina turned her face ever so slightly to get a glimpse of her friend from the corner of her eyes.

Her attention was solely resting upon the female beside her and how own movements that Serafina hardly noticed the attention she was receiving from fellow patrons of the bar - people whom she'd seen many times today but had always too overlooked her. It was only the sound of Tamzin's voice that brought her attention to the world outside their little circle, her slate tinged gaze momentarily drifting towards the male in question and yet, she made no motion to coax him closer towards her. "Let him watch." She muttered softly to her companion, hardly hesitating that captivating roll of her hips. After a moment, she allowed her companion to turn her figure back towards her, her eyes instead meeting those of her childhood friend. She noted well the softness of that once hard gaze, the appearance of perhaps her once dearest friend rather than the Hunter she had become.

Serafina's gaze darted towards the speakers above them as the music shifted, the beat changing to a tone that was far more enthusiastic as before. She heard the laughter leaving her companion's lips as the woman threw her head back, her inhibitions lowered by the liquor they had consumed. It was enough to bring a simper to the witch's features, pleased to see her old familiar friend back. Not a word left the girl's lips, hardly wanting to ruin this sweet moment for fear that it might be but a fleeting glimpse of the past the two shared. Instead, Serafina focused the entirety of her attention upon her companion, encouraging the female to get lost in the music with the sway of her own figure. It hadn't occurred to Serafina that this was but a temporary reprieve from her own death. Quite on the contrary she thought she was safe - she thought that perhaps all they had shared, all they were sharing, was enough to put aside such deadly thoughts. After all, she had always know safety within Tamzin's presence and such didn't stop now, despite that she was a Hunter.
