South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

She wasn't comfortable being near strangers, let alone males, and she hardly wished to stay where she was. Yet Tobias seemed far too happy to be playing with the children that she didn't want to take him away from his fun just because she was uncomfortable. Holding her book against her chest to contain her nerves she watched the male carefully, taking note with how he held himself. It was rather odd. He was standing far too straight than what a normal person would hold themselves, but the stench of 'fae' was rather evident and she assumed he was just old fashion. As to how old he truly was, she had no idea. When she raised her head slightly to look up at him she quickly averted her gaze, as soon as she saw his eyes widen in shock, and as she looked to the ground she could still feel his eyes. By now she should be used to the obvious looks of shock and yet she still couldn't get used to it. As she looked at the ground she noticed his shadow and how he attempted to come towards her, his arm hesitantly began to outstretch almost as if he meant to touch her, and yet he stopped himself. Which was a good thing, because he would have been slapped and most likely been attacked for touching her. Although she hated being touched by others she belonged to an extremely possessive fellow that was nearby.

Nervously, she removed her hand from her book, bringing her hand upwards, her fingers gently touching the tip of her golden-brown curls, allowing gravity and the wind to untuck her hair from behind her ear, and move to cover the damaged side of her face, feeling a bit more comfortable now that it was hidden. Her dial would tilt upwards slightly puzzled at the sound of his inquiry about 'school.' For a moment she assumed he was simply teasing her, but the way his voice held such a perplex tone, and how he had such a baffled look on his face she gave him the benefit of the doubt. With a shrug of her shoulders she politely explained to him what a school was. Even though her pack was awfully cruel to her at least they gave her the ability to be 'normal' and attend school within their pack to get an education.

"A school is a place where boys and girls go and get their education. You know a place where you learn to read, write, history, math, physical education, art, music, economics, and government. I'm sure you went to a school, in Italy, I mean you know French and English."

Why he was speaking on behalf of two she did not know, but she assumed he was still trying to learn the English language. English was indeed a difficult language to learn, especially when you had words that sounded the same, but each one had a different spelling and meaning. Others may laugh at the way he talks, but she ignores it, perhaps because she was used to conversing with someone that didn't speak too well either. She wasn't sure why out of everyone within the park this male would want to approach her, let alone talk to her. As he gestured to the book she was reading and began to provide his opinion on the delightful piece of literature the young woman couldn't help, but stare at him quietly for a moment. Never before had someone else wanted to converse with her about a piece of literature. No one within her pack seemed quite interested in books as much as she was. She had never before had such a conversation before and she was rather eager and nervous at the same time to speak her own mind on the matter. Hardly did anyone truly ask for her opinion or what she thought. In moments when she assumed it was safe she would speak her mind, but never truly all the way, always keeping her thoughts simple hardly wishing to upset anyone. Although she was a bit nervous to be around a complete stranger the chance to have such a...unique conversation was oh so very...very tempting.

When he mentions how unruly Elizabeth was she nods politely letting him know that indeed he used the correct word. His soft smile calms her nerves for a moment and as she bites her lip hesitantly, she looks down at her book. Shyly she looks up to see her companion having his fun with the children. Today was a day he had wished for the two of them to go have fun and play. He seemed to be enjoying herself and she thought that maybe, perhaps, she could do with this male that seemed quite content leaning on the tree. With a tilt of her head she beckons him to follow her nearby to sit on the bench that was perched beneath the tree, to offer shade. She was rather pale and her fair complexion wouldn't do well being in the sun for too long. She would sit at the far end of the bench, setting her book down between them, the book being a good barrier for herself, hardly wishing to be too close to him. She is still quiet for a moment composing her thoughts together, and softly she eloquently begins to speak, the girl taking her time, far too eager and anxious to speak her mind so fully, the girl given a rare intellectual challenge.

"The whole point of the book was to show how British society was and how females are constantly being treated as an item, not as an equal human being. Women are constantly brought up to behave a certain way within society. They are created never to inherit a dime, but to be used in agreements between families or using them to pay off debts. It is a double standard when a woman wishes to marry up, like Jane wanting Charlies, how Charles family was absolutely disgruntled in Charles choice for a wife â€" marrying someone beneath him. Whereas Jane's family was delighted that she would be marrying a man above her that she would be doing well for the rest of her life. Let's not forget the fact that Mr. Bennet was an absolute idiot not caring in the slightest for his daughters and who they would marry, but the Mrs. Bennet cared for more! Those girls cannot have a chance if their own Father didn't care and it is important for him to care and try to do something to make sure his daughters would be well. Let's not forget another double standard that ought to be pointed out. When Lydia brought shame to her family by running off and being with George Wickham, she brought more plight on herself and her family, but George barely got any of the shame and blame. Last time I recalled it takes two to get married."

Little does Raven realize how much confidence there is in her speech. She could feel her heart racing, eager to continue, her mind flowing and her jaw dropped once again, all to delighted to continue. It would seem that the girl had a lot to say and she was far too eager to show just how much she knew, and how capable she was of speaking so logically with another. Something she had been deprived for far too long.

"As for Elizabeth she was indeed unruly, but she was rather refreshing. It was wonderful to see a woman being shown that she is something far more than an object. She had such a sharp tongue, a witty mind, and deep down she had a sense to love and respect her family. She was quick to judge, and that was indeed a weakness, but who doesn't have a weakness? Mr. Darcy was far too dry and not suited for Elizabeth, but in a way the two were quite good with one another beyond just the need to respect both their families. In a way Love should be something each person should have for the other, a couple in Love should be able to love the other for their strength and their flaws. Even though all the British regency love was still something that could be reached and not something that was unattainable. It opened eyes, I think for everyone, of every gender and class."

She suddenly grows quiet as she comes to a close. Blue-grey eyes carry a spark within them the girly quite pleased with herself, timid a bit though to know of his reaction. Part of her was afraid he would say she was entirely wrong and the other side of her was ready for the challenge. Though she hoped she didn't make a completely fool of herself in being wrong, but truly she didn't think she was wrong at all. She beams at him proudly and she pulls some of her golden curls out of her eyes, unconcerned for a moment of showing her damaged face. When he speaks of no one to being married she stares at the ground for a moment. With a shrug of her shoulders she politely responds.

"Life is short and the customs of the past aren't something anyone values anymore. Many people that date end up doing things that one shouldn't do unless they are married. No one honestly cares about decency anymore or having a pure reputation. It is sad in many ways and yet that is life now."

For a moment her eyes scanned to look at the children as they played with her companion still. For all his flaws he was such a good person deep down. How wonderful in a way his childlike antics seemed to flourish and be productive in such a good manner. Love was indeed a funny thing. Her fingers nervously twirl around the other. She had yet to tell anyone allowed the truth about her status. No longer was she considered a 'girlfriend.' No, no she had a better title than that. Her cheeks would change a slight pink as she bashfully spoke softly, looking at Dorian now.

"I never thought I'd ever be married. I never thought I could ever have a mate. I...recently became married, well in the Were-world I am considered married, because I have a mate. He could have chosen anyone else, but he chose me."

A soft girlish giggle came from the shy woman. The girl slowly starting to retreat to her old self, as her eyes left Dorian and landed on her companion, watching him for a moment, quite content. For a moment she looks back at him.

"Why are you concerned about who is married and who isn't?"
