West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

The Hunter was altogether oblivious, in those moments, to the thoughts that filtered through the young woman's mild. He had little notion that his capacity for compassion might so attract her, even in moments such as this. Rather, there was a lingering concern within that centuries old soul that the brutality that would certainly occur might somehow dissuade her from the remainder of the evening that he had promised her, one that he was, admittedly, looking forward to. Still, there was a job to be done, one in which even he could not entirely ignore. The absence of that stag within that alleyway immediately drew the entirety of his attention as his lips pressed together, those further concerns of Alexis pushed to the back of his mind with the intent to fix after his prey had come to it's demise. His own senses expanded at that silence within those two walls and yet, even Alexander wasn't fully prepared for the creature that, by all standards, shouldn't be on his feet. He turned just in time to see that shield raise, that blow bouncing off of it to leave the pair entirely unharmed.

For a moment, he was far more inquisitive of the shield in front of him then his harmed query, momentarily tapping it before Alexis herself voiced how useful it was. A soft hum left his lips before the man nodded, "I could see how it would be." He uttered softly, offering the girl a small smile before he stepped from behind the barrier, that dagger pulled from oblivious before thrown with precise purpose towards the creature, effectively pinning him to the wall. He made his way towards that fallen animal, his affinity lashing out at the beast the moment his hand touched the creature. It hardly took long to wiggle the information he sought from the man's mind. All that was required was a little coaxing with the right questions. In but moments later, his hand reached out to hold those antlers, finishing the animal off in one swift, final killing blow. The Hunter muttered to himself of just how many were left and now that his job for the evening was finished, Alexander was all too happy to turn towards that far more personal interest. The breathtaking Alexis.

Those blue-green eyes fell upon her petite figure, caring for little else but her as he presented her with a small simper. The Dark Hunter stepped away from the body behind him, no longer concerned for those duties he was obliged to fill. Sofly, that apology fell from the King's lips, entirely hopeful that she might be inclined to simply put this from her mind. Although she had suggested before that she was no longer the tender soul she once had been, Alexander still found himself entirely concerned that the murder he'd so cold heartedly committed might cause her to reconsider. He watched that smile that danced across her features, promising him with naught a word spoken that such an act of savagery wasn't enough to chase her away so easily. That nibble of her bottom lip certainly served to produce more sensual desires within the man, nearly desiring to kiss it himself if she continued in such a fashion.

His eyebrow rose ever so slightly at those teasing words that left her lips and yet, he was hardly opposed to so indulging her. "I have some....things...in mind." Alexander uttered simply in response, the man easily returning to that same husky hint within his accented words. That back and forth between them came so easily to him, that fear she'd once held of him seemed entirely lost within her now as she stepped forward towards him, her hands reaching out to nestle against the cotton fabric of his shirt and, in turn on the hard planes of his chest. His own hands fell to her waist, resting firmly there and yet, he was entirely aware of not only the proximity of her lips to his but also that sudden...silence. It was inquisitive and yet, it hardly took him long to work out exactly what was occurring. She was blocking her thoughts from him, though he couldn't help but to wonder why. Still, she was here and that, surely, had to mean something, didn't it?

Alexander slowly leaned forward, his lips pressing gingerly against hers and yet that kiss was wholly fleeting before he uttered softly. "There is somewhere I'd like to take you." He uttered, intending to take her away from the alley that still reeked of that copper scent of blood and the body that rested behind him. They were, after all, hardly ideal to the situation he so wished to craft. Instead, he reached up, his fingers intertwining within her own as he led her from the alley and out to those streets. Timing was quite of essence, that natural phenomenon he so wished to show her had been in the newspaper and radio for days if only for how utterly rare it was to be seen so far south. He had little notion of where Alexis had been born or if she had ever seen such a thing before but - despite how many years that had passed, he remembered those lights being as utterly breathtaking as the woman at his side. It seemed only fitting.
