West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

I've never felt this before. I don't really know how to describe it. I just know I never felt it before. I felt more...horse...no that is not the right word. It really isn't. I felt more connected to that other half. It's not like I purposefully squashed it or tried to ignore it. Rather I've attempted to bring it out more or at least feel it. I thought being around the other horses would help, but I've never felt its influence as strong until now. Who knew going in the ring and fighting would actually let me feel, well whatever it is. Now I'm not one that believes violence solves everything. After all my parents died during a violent and gruesome murder. But I have to admit being in that ring did give me a chance to connect. Smashing into the ram was absolutely freeing. Is this one of the secret reasons why the others fight within the ring? To feel whatever it is that I am feeling? I do hope that the ram fellow is okay.

As the crowd cheers I look over to the Were-King not quite sure if there was something I should or shouldn't do. I can feel him pulling the tug trying to get me to revert back to a human. As always it was rather painful shifting from something massive to something small. I really do not like the feeling of shifting. I manage to get myself to stand, shaking a bit from the cold and the aftershock. Quickly I try to put on my clothes. I can't help, but look a bit frightened when I noticed my shirt was in shreds. Thankfully someone came up giving me some sort of bottle to drink and another shirt. When I finish dressing myself, I chug whatever contents were in the bottle, feeling the pain in my legs and the aftermath from shifting start to stop. I have seriously got a get a few more of these. As I manage to stumble between the ropes he lifted for me, I give him a shrug of my shoulder weakly uttering my response.

"Anything strong really, please?"

I can't help it, but I am sure there is a frightened and weakened look on my face. I've never really done something like this before. When we make it to the bar I wait for him to tell the bartender what sort of poison he chose for me. As we're waiting for the glass I pull back some of the blonde frays that felt in front of my eyes. That indescribable feeling that I felt earlier was slowly fading away and no matter how I try to focus on it, to keep it, I can't. I'm not quite sure if he would understand. I mean he isn't my Alpha and he isn't my Maker so I don't think he can help me out, but I'm hoping he can point me in the right direction. As we get our drinks, I try to speak up, but I am embarrassed with how my voice cracks.

"Do you think I could go back in there? I want to try again, but I want to figure it all out first."
