East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

East

The East side was her least favorite area to be. It was not peaceful nor quiet. It was far too loud to her liking. The bright colors everywhere in the store fronts seemed obnoxious to her. Hardly could she ever bring herself to this side of town. Yet it was the only place where there was a bookstore and she couldn't deprive her desire to browse around for the next perfect book to dive into. Sadly there wasn't many book stores in the West. Actually, there really wasn't much of anything. Many of the shops had run down due to the majority of the public finding what they need in the East, a better part of society. Even though the West had a very shady reputation it was peaceful and quiet. There was hardly anything she needed to be afraid or worried about. Not when she lived there and not when her spotted feline friend ran all over the place. She was very sure that if she were in trouble in the West, somehow Tobi would find out, and he would simply eliminate the threat- if she hadn't done so already. Being half an animal did have its benefits sometimes. The primal instincts of survival really did have its advantage sometimes.

As the young woman walked along the sidewalk, hands resting in the front pocket of her baggy hoodie, she kept to herself flinching every now and then when a male came to close. Walking amongst a big crowd wasn't something she was pleased about, but it was one of those evil necessity. Yet it would all pay off as soon as she had a new book or two. From her escapades with Tobias, to her time with Alexis and Isolt, she was slowly starting to spread herself thin without any time to herself. Especially now that she was about to join a pack and she had this responsibility to a Witch she hardly ever spoke to. For some reason each time she saw the Witch, the raven-haired woman always seemed to be in trouble, and the young curly-haired woman couldn't understand why. Raven had tried to research as much as she could about familiars, but apparently that wasn't such a well-researched subject that she hardly found anything for it. So, without anything else to go on she would have to rely on whatever information she could gather from Serafina. While thinking about her status with the troublesome witch Raven was getting a bit anxious, more so than before, and she felt this feeling that something terrible was brewing nearby. Lifting her head, inhaling the air, relying on this powerful ability her eyes scanned those around her unable to detect what was causing her to feel so worked up. Concerned she tilted her head to the side following those invisible strings that seemed to pull and tug her in a particular direction.

As Raven began to walk closer to Serafina's shop she couldn't help, but feel agitated and yet she thought she had no reason to. When she turned around the corner she noticed there was hardly anyone on this street which seemed peculiar. As she climbed the stairs towards a building that seemed to attract her she could hear a sudden crashing noise and as she turned her head that familiar scent caught her attention. With a snarl her bones began to break as shifted using her telekinesis to barge the door open and slam it shut once she entered the shop. Her black and grey form continued to grow in size allowing her behemoth form to take over the store floor. Blue-grey eyes narrowed at the sight of Serafina being grabbed and held from some unknown male with some form of cloth over her mouth. A rumbling snarl erupted from the lupine as black lips pulled back to reveal her sharp teeth. Slowly she pressed forward lifting her head in a dominant manner as her hackles rose. Gargled cold voice would boom into both of their minds as her grey trimmed ears flatten against her skull.

"Let her go...now."

Someone would have to be really stupid to not obey a gigantic wolf in the middle of a shop.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
