East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The ebony feline's emerald eyes fell upon the female fairy, his gaze gracing her figure just long enough to note the dark color that amazed upon her arm. His features scrunched up in a display of aggression, his annoyance at the Dark Hunters was entirely clear, adrenaline and anger lacing the emotions that raced through the male. He heard his name upon her lips, as she struggled to lean forward, pointing him in the direction that his instincts were already screaming at him. Tetadore hardly paused for very long before prowling forward, his paws silent across the pavement as he stalked towards the hunter across the street. He called to his magic, that fear he so wielded rushing to him, carefully crafting the illusion to make him appear whatever sort of monstrosity the Dark Hunter and any others in the area might so fear. It hadn't occurred to him what Samantha might see, his attention entirely focusing upon the threat at hand. The man stepped carefully into the shadow, his glowing green gaze attentively searching for the man's target. He heard the whoosh of air past him as another bolt left the cross bow.

A low growl left his lips as he rushed forward through the darkness towards the origin of the sound, his gaze falling upon the figure of a young male and his protege. His jaws parted as he bit into the arm of the elder Dark Hunter, his venom lacing his teeth to sting through flesh. Tetradore heard the cursing leave the hunter's lips as the man dropped the bow, reaching with his other arm into his jacket to pull out a blunt object that collided into Tetradore's side. A huff of air left his lips as the man grasp was lost, his claws digging into the hunter's shirt. He felt the hunter fall beneath the sheer weight of his large jungle cat body. His teeth once again finding purchase on the hunter's shoulder. The hunter beneath him crud out and for a moment Tetradore dug his teeth in deeper until, quite to his surprise, he felt an heavy object collide into him, pushing him off the elder hunter. Tetradore leapt backwards, his figure heaving as his emerald eyes glared at them, surprised to find the hunter's little protege directly facing him with an arrow laced and poised within the fallen crossbow.

He hardly has time to react before the woman pressed the button on her bow, releasing the arrow to let it fly. The bolt collided into him, causing a yelp to leave his lips as he leaned backwards with a groan. His emerald eyes remained steadfast upon the group in front of him, watching as the woman shakily made her way towards her mentor, trying desperately to pull him to his feet. The were panther growled but remained entirely in his place, preferring not to attack again if only because the arrow in his chest ached with his every movement. He slinked backwards towards the fairy, willing to let the pair go instead of striking for the kill. It was only when he was certain they were no longer in immediate danger that Tetradore turned towards the small fairy, slowly making his way back towards her side.
