Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

A smoldering rage burned in the pit of the assassin's stomach, her eyes wild as she perches on the roof of Sam's building waiting for night to finally fall. She had witnessed Dorian exit the building only moments ago. Vhalla was thankful for the faerie to be gone with what she had in mind. The witch had debated long and hard on her tactics on how to face Sam but after that little were-creature has broken into the apartment it pushed Vhal over the edge. The white haired woman had refused to tell Sam of the break in and was conscious of the clean-up she had executed after the stranger escaped.

Taking a deep breath to still the roiling of emotions through her body she reaches back to drag her hood over her head hiding the white braid within. Dropping down the fire escape she quietly descends the stairs before halting outside of Sam's window. Peering inside a rush of guilt overwhelms the assassin briefly before she catches Sam comfortable in bed, lights off watching her television intently. Taking a small breath, she lets her eyes travel the room, searching, inspecting. What she is surprised to find is a rather old, but well taken care of sword placed on the ground next to the woman's bed.

Vhal was almost certain the faerie queen had no inkling of how to handle the blade. Rolling her shoulders, she continues to search the dark room, her eyes glancing over a stuffed animal perched on the bed next to her. Tilting her head in confusion she can't help but shake her head slightly at Sam. The woman was beyond anything or anyone the assassin had ever met and again that guilt rolls through her in strong waves, only being trumped by anger at how undefended and naïve the faerie was.

Taking one last deep breath, she makes sure her face is shrouded in darkness and her hair tucked away in her hood before lifting the latch silently from the outside. Reaching down she grasps the hilt of her blade, withdrawing it with a quiet snick before shoving the window open and exploding through the opening. Breaking her fall she rolls across the ground, shoving the sword with her foot to the other side of the room before launching herself onto the bed, straddling Sam a dagger poised at the faerie's throat.

The assassin is careful not to touch Samantha with her blade, wary that the steel would burn the faerie. Vhal wasn't here to hurt the woman, simply to enlighten her. Knowing Sam well enough now, she lets her own anger roll off her in waves, realizing Sam would be assaulted with her emotions. She has hopes that letting her anger take control of her would hide her reasoning to be here. She wanted Sam to learn how to defend herself and the infuriating woman refused to see her reasoning. She was a queen and she would have a target on her back for the rest of her life.

"Now, if I was really here to kill you, you would already be dead," Vhal hisses at Sam, her eyes narrowing dangerously but making no move to remove herself from Sam's being. "Did you know that the day after you let me stay here a little were-bitch broke into your apartment?"
