Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Those evenings following that fateful and rather deplorable dinner seemed to stretch on for the vampire, if only for their notable absence of the fae King he was assured he had let down. He knew well how much his lover had cherished his roommate, just as he knew well too how entirely improbable it was that he and Samantha might ever find some sort comradeship within each other's presence - all of which was due to his own ineptitude in so fighting his maker, despite his best efforts. Thankfully, this absence and his own guilt were, momentarily, pushed from the forefront of the Englishman's thoughts, replaced only by that holiday that quite literally hung over the vampire - halloween. Such a day was hardly foreign to the man in the least. He remembered an age when such festivities were called 'souling' and children sang in exchange for the food they so begged for. The tradition certainly had changed over the years, evolving into the revelry of sweets and costumes that would so beset the city for tonight alone. It was this singular evening that Sebastian found himself so looking forward to, drowning himself in the holiday for several evenings with a fervor he might, perhaps, not have otherwise done.

The manicured splendor of Sebastian's estate had certainly taken a turn in the last few days. The leaves that fell from the shedding trees were left to litter his lawn if only for the aesthetic that they so provided. Several fake grey tombstones were precariously perched within the front yard, complete with a perfectly placed shovel standing erect beside the one closest to his home and that stone walkway. The path itself was rimmed with lanterns tinted with a subtle orange glass, the lights within flickering like candles to light the way. There was a large spider placed upon the roof of the mansion, several smaller ones making their way down the front facade of the building, complete with their accompanying webs that so adored the windows of what was the living room of his home. The door of the estate had hardly gone without too being decorated, an array of multi-sized black bats had been stuck to the glass, placed in such a way that they seemed to be coming out of the door and disappearing further up into the entryway and the darkness there beyond. Finally, Sebastian had seen to it that four brightly lit jack-o-lanterns were perfectly positioned on both sides of that door - the pumpkins themselves were a product of the previous evening's craft in which he had demanded each inhabitant of his home participate.

The interior was hardly any different, ornaments of the holiday had so kept into various parts of the home. The ceiling of the entryway was littered with floating candles, the lights in the front of the home entirely dimmed to only further the effect. Everything was exactly as it should be and soon enough, Sebastian himself would join the festivities. That towel hung loosely around his waist, a soft yawn still on his lips despite the drops of water that fell from his dirty blonde hair. His dark, indigo gaze stared down at the outfit that laid upon his bed, those rich reds and dark ebony so entirely fitting for this evening's event. It was perhaps the singular time in which Sebastian so fully embraced that which he was - a creature of the night, the dreaded and feared vampire. The ebony slacks were the first order of business, tailored with care to fit his figure in a way that was entirely slimming. The crimson and golden vest fit snugly to his chiseled figure, followed with that black jacket trimmed with red filagree. The last, and decidedly most important article of clothing was last - that black cloak so fitted around him with two square golden pieces and for a moment, Sebastian was entirely content to simply eye his reflection in the mirror of his wardrobe. He could hardly deny he looked the role, especially with mouth parted and those fangs so glistening under the light.

"Sebastian, the trick-or-treaters will be here soon, are you ready?" Elizabeth inquired, pausing in the doorway his closet. The man turned towards her, presenting himself to her all whilst eying her own costume in an entirely critical fashion. The girl wore a red sequined dress, one that stopped just shy of her knees, her lips were rimmed with that same bright red color, the outfit completed with the devil horned headband upon her head. Elizabeth grinned in delight. "Perfectly charming, my dear Count." She teased, clearly having let the festivities put her in a better mood than normal. A warm simper so danced upon his own lips as he stepped away from the mirror, his hand brushing briefly against her waist. "And you look stunning my dear. Is Charles ready?" He inquired, the girl's head bobbing ever enthusiastically. Sebastian followed Elizabeth down the stairs towards where Charles, the pirate, was positioned at the front door, dumping bags of full bars of candy they had purchased specifically for this night. For a brief moment, Sebastian merely watched the man at his task, reaching in to snatch one of his preferred bars before retreating into the living room.

He settled on the ebony sofa in the living room, a small sound of satisfaction so leaving his lips as he discovered his own bowl of candy placed entirely for his own consumption upon the coffee table. Those British sweets were entirely rare within Sacrosanct, almost non existent, and so, it was decidedly pleasing that Charles' father had seen to it that, even despite the oceans that divided them, he was still thinking enough of his charge to send such delectable goodies at this time of the year. The sound of that door bell so distracted the vampire from the candy he had placed within his mouth, his darkly hued irises glanced upwards towards the door. Ah, so it clearly had begun - soon, Sebastian would have to decide what he intended to do with his evening, refusing to remain simply cooped up inside when he certainly looked so particularly stunning for the festivities. In his thought, Sebastian remained entirely inattentive towards the door and the silence that echoed in his hallway. Charles himself had answered that ring of the doorbell not but moments later with the bowl of candy in hand and yet, it was that figure that stood before him that so entirely surprised him - after all, the household was certainly not expecting guests on a night like tonight.
